Ex-Spurs Player Davinson Sanchez

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Been tagged wrongly for racism can ruin a persons life. Its not something that should be bandied about lightly yet people here are using it very very loosely
If its wrong. I really am struggling to get why Hojbjerg and Dier have been cut so much slack they are absolutely horrible footballers. Not having N'dombele the fans NEVER turned on him. He earned boos for one very specific incident. Sanches and even the treatment Emerson Royal got when I'd pick him all day over the two players I mention is pretty weird and is uncomfortably disproportionate.

Its an accumilating. Sanchez has been our worst player for years. Not his fault.
The fact he has been used shockingly as a wrong sub this season hasnt helped and led to massive frustration been vented at him. Hes simply a symptom whats wrong with the club at Dont agree with it but i dont think 10,000 people said sat lets boo sanchez because of the colour of his skin

I'm not sure he's cost us more times than Dier did. I never felt Aurier was as bad as some made out Emerson Royal certainly was/is not. My point is I went to Anfield when we drew with a very good Liverpool side. Emerson was brilliant on the walk out the ground Liverpool fans were seriously saying could we swap with TAA. He had a run of great form them average. Now he subsequently had a poor run of games (when asked to be TAA) he was relentless mocked booed and called every name under the sun. Which brings me to Kulusevski... Playing like shit for months but his good run of form has insulated him from to a level not afford some of our squad.

I hope I'm wrong but it's not wild to suggest some people's prejudice plays into a narrative they very quickly build certain footballers. We (the fans)need to be mindful that whatever the 'truth' is ...its damaging to the club.

Hojberg , I can understand if he doesnt get booed. But if someone wants to boo Sanchez, they would have booed Dier as well and would have 100% most definitely booed Winks. So it does seem a little off. It would have achieved nothing but at least it would be consistent.

Slap Stellini round the face and just say listen
Lloris
Porro Romero Dier Lenglet
Sarr
Skipp Hojberg
Kulusevski
Kane. Son

Don't tell me it won't work because we have never seen it. It would certainly be better than that shower of shit on the weekend.

And no need for Sanchez to show his face

His position does him no favours either.

Because let's face it. Errors by a defender are usually more costly than mistakes by attackers. And stick out way more.

A striker missing a open goal can be laughed off. But a defensive error by a defender or a goalkeeper is bound to initiate a negative reaction.

Why are people (well, one person mainly) suggesting that "literally the whole stadium", "61,000 people" and so on were booing Sánchez? Obviously I was only watching on TV but it didn't sound remotely like that to me, something that a number of those present have confirmed.

In a vaguely similar vein, whenever a number of people are offered a binary choice - boo/don't boo, leave/remain etc - it is simplistic to suggest that all those picking one option over the other had the single same reason for doing so. All those who voted for Brexit were racist Little Englanders, everyone booing Sánchez thought he was a cunt and so on. The truth is that there may have been a number of reasons that caused a person to join in on Saturday - frustration at the substitution, frustration at the team, frustration at Levy/ENIC, frustration at Stellini being given the job/still being there among others.

Or simply that the person next to them was booing for whatever reason and they joined in without thinking too much as to why.

Back in the day I sometimes sung "You're gonna get your fucking head kicked in" without having the slightest intention of joining in with any potential kicking in of fucking heads, hating the very idea of it in fact, simply because everyone around me was screaming it and I was a lot younger and more stupid. Many of those others were probably in a similar situation, similarly unlikely to get involved with any fucking head kicking-in, but still they sang as loud as they could and pointed menacingly at the away support.

And yes, a load were booing because they thought that Sánchez was shit and yes, I suppose it's plausible that one or two were vile bigots whose hatred was motivated by Sánchez's skin colour but to suggest that "61,000 people" or even 100% of the booers were essentially racists is idiotic, offensive bollocks.

The only possible good booing can do is to try to force a move for the player maybe ? Other than that it's destructive. If the coach thought Sanchez was the best option rather than Tanganga I would be inclined to accept that.
I don't think it was racist but an indicator of the way the fans feel right now.

I don't think Sanchez has developed as much as we would all have hoped and it's obvious he isn't good enough for where we want to be but he should never have be en out there. As soon as Lenglet went off when 1-0 up, we should have either brought Sarr on or another attacker on and just put the knife to them.

Nor Lloris or PEH, they don’t need to show their faces either. Hopefully Davies or Royal are back soon at LB.

Majority were booking the negative substitution, not the player. It’s a carryover from when Conte tried to close out the Milan game with a narrow 1-0 defeat as opposed to actually trying to go thru (and brought on Sanchez)

I asked this initially as I missed the game , lucky me!
Any how apparently he got booed for every touch as well , my views on it are personally I wouldn’t boo an individual player who wears our shirt unless they were maybe out on bail for rape charges , however I think like you for the majority it’s the fact we went negative rather than go to a back 4, and Sanchez copped it , the continuous booing of him though was it because he fucked up or was it just booing him?
The racism allegations remind me of the Rudiger incident when he accused our fan base of racism which was proven incorrect !

Surely no team would field such a player Fatty!

:mourhandlaugh:

We got ourselves in front with Lenglet on the pitch playing the usual system. Sanchez came on to maintain the 3 at the back and therefore cause the least disruption to our balance I guess.
It didn't work out but Stellini was probably trying to keep to the game plan already agreed as closely as possible.

I have formally submitted a complaint via a letter about the racist abuse of sanchez to the spurs club. It has been sent to:

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club
Lilywhite House
782 High Road
London
N17 0BX

There has been no reports I see online and I sense a cover up. I have sent a complaint to the ask spurs site as well under the report antisocial behaviour category as well. It restricts content so I put a sentence together. These individuals are not going to get away with it. This is what I wrote in my letter and will let you all know of the response I get which will see how we react to these situations.

'To Spurs official club, I am deeply shocked and saddened by what I witnessed first hand between Spurs and Bournemouth at the match on Saturday at 3pm. I am 100% certain that Sanchez was targeted by a racist section of spurs fans at the game. They were intent on targeting him because he was a black player that had been playing poorly. I could hear on where I was streaming the game booing from whenever he touched the ball, I also saw some spurs reaction videos from we are Tottenham TV and I could clearly hear the booing of sanchez. The final straw was the reaction to his substitution.

Please can you review cctv footage to find these individuals as you will be able to pinpoint where the booing started from. That is the source. I refer to you to the below article a couple of years ago and how you condemn all forms of racism.

No player regardless of his skin colour deserves this treatment. I am not alone as some fans on the spurs forum believe that racism was involved as well. If we allow this to continue then it will grow and become a bigger issue. We as a club can set a great example to the whole league to stamp out any forms of racism and booing of our own players and club regardless of how they play.

I look forward to your response and action on this serious issue,

Those racists abusing Sanchez on social media must be gooners, there are no racist Spurs fans on earth.
Y
Are you from the U.K.? :sonhmm:
I am not quite sure why you are a being a busybody and nosy neighbour and trying to find out my whereabouts. Newsmongering is not a good look.Yes I live in the UK but I will not give you any further information about where I live as you are getting into GDPR territory. I pay a fee to a streaming website as they forced myself to as I could not watch for longer than a minute.

You seem from your username to lack friends which is most likely because you pry into people's personal lives by requesting personal information. Lots on here talk a good game but they lack the courage to do what is right and hold perpetrators to account for their actions. The conversations they are speaking about, they twist things, distort and try to get others to turn on each other. It is like online gorilla warfare. No one considers the mental health of our players and also other fans on here that are subjected to barbaric abuse. Healing can take time. My whole weekend has been distracted by what has happened to sanchez. As alrighty God is my witness, I know he will recover and get out of the depression he must be in. He is a better man than those satanic creature bent on hellmongering.
