just can't understand why he is still here after saturday, surely Levy see's that this guy is a rabbit caught in the headlights

Appointing an interim wasn't guaranteed to be a better idea even if everyone assumes it was.

Lampard has made Chelsea worse.

Leeds are going down.

Hodgson has worked in fairness but Palace were better than their results.

Really not sure our defensive unit really is better than our results. I can't remember the last game where a mistake hasn't gifted our opponents a goal. Stellini isn't causing that and he hasn't got a defender to select that isn't just as likely to gift a goal.

the defence has been poor all season (last 10 games last season the "same" defenders were solid) that is on Conte & Stellini
sacking Conte after a weeks delay then appointing his asst was madness, why delay a week unless you are looking for replacement ? surely at new year when Conte didn't sign contarct Levy should have been planning nexr mamagement team ?

Lampard and Gracia are shit managers. Appoint a shit manager and you get shit results. Hodgson is like Ancelotti compared to those two.

We didn’t need an interim anyway, we needed a proper manager. When Conte was sacked there was still time to rescue the season. Instead the chairman just gave up. Poch is out there. Enrique is out there. Nagelsmann is out there. Burnley are promoted already, we could take Kompany if we really tried. We didn’t have to let the kit man take over.

As usual Levy is caught unprepared with no plan. When Conte refused to sign the contract extension all those months ago, he should have drawn up a plan. We shouldn’t still be “considering” our options while the team humiliates itself every week.

Correct,it should have been commit to the club now or we get a plan in place. The club basically waited for Conte to decide what he was doing. Conte got himself sacked. He’d still be here if it wasn’t for what he said after Southampton. It was all pre planned from Conte. Levy is still just sitting waiting to see what happens. Discussions with Conte should have been done during the World Cup to ensure we didn’t find ourselves in this position.
And look at the state of this shit show now! Defies fucking logic.

Imagine the reaction if we'd brought in Hodgson...

Agree on not having a plan and that is a joke because it's been known for ages that Conte wasn't signing at the end of the year.

Paratici adds a layer of fuckery to this though. His plan is somebody Italian or Enrique. Levy probably has a different idea. Paratici is surely getting the boot after his appeal.

They were a miracle for 10 games. They had been poor the whole season before that. Dier and Lloris have been making mistakes that cost goals for a few years now. Before Conte came in, Lloris needed replacing.

Why do you think any of these managers would be happy to join Spurs with 10 matches to go?

Enrique and Poch are both unemployed and we pay great money.

Nagelsmann is the only one that said he wants to wait until the summer.

"I wouldn't go to any team but to one that could do important things, which greatly reduces the number." - Enrique

I dont think he would have any interest in managing spurs whose main ambition is 4th place , espeically at this stage of the season.
And the Board dont want Poch, he might be a last resort in the summer when the manager hunt becomes farcical again

That doesn't mean that they would be happy to come in mid season and tbh I wouldn't blame them if they chose to stay away at the moment.

Why would you tie yourself to a job with uncertainty no signs of a structure in place when there could be other jobs available in the Summer?

Because they want a job? If they don’t want to take it that’s fine. But “considering” and “monitoring” and “weighing up” will lead us to another Nuno situation. Make them the offer and move on if they decline.

If they don’t want to take the job when top 4 is still achievable they sure as fuck won’t want to take it when this PE teacher takes us to 8th place and Harry Kane joins United.

Don’t get me wrong, it will be very difficult to persuade any good manager to work with Levy. But we can surely try harder than we are currently doing. By this point last season United had already locked in Ten Hag for next season. It doesn’t seem like we are actually in discussions with anyone. No doubt due to the Paratici situation which again, Levy must have known was coming and completely failed to prepare for.

They want a job doesn't mean they're in desperate need for a job, it's totally asinine to take this job in this current situation especially with the pressure and expectation of getting top 4.

Spurs fans bemoan the state of the club on a daily basis, from the board to the infrastructure, we don't even know what the status of our DOF situation is yet we expect top class managers who will have other options to just come in and waltz into this job with the current state the team is in?, sorry it's not realistic.

Fuck all to do with paratici. Get in touch with a manager and have a chat and see if he’s interested. You don’t need paratici to make a fucking phone call. Football is fucked and too complicated. Exactly right when you say if they don’t want the job when there’s still a chance of top 4 then get them to fuck. Nobody that’s a top manager will want us come the end of the season if it goes the way it’s likely to go.
Imagine asking Poch,Nagelsmann or Enrique to take over with big European nights in the conference league!! Fucking club is a mess and Levy is a clown for not replacing conte straight away. I’d rather we offered a top manager astronomical wages to get them in now and start building for next season and maybe have to sacrifice one extra signing. Money talks but Levy will wait too long and fuck off all the real supporters. The stadium will be full of South Korean tourists and company days out. I get fucking angry typing this shit! I can’t listen or look at Stellini doing an interview ever again. Get him to fuck.

It’s what we SHOULD expect if we had a club that’s run competently.

But yeah, with an utter moron like Levy in charge we should know better. He is destroying what little prestige we had as a football team. Yes, we have a wonderful stadium. But who actually respects as a sports team and not a property developer? Nobody.
