Im sure there'll be a section of Spurs fans who'll applaud him for being "brave" or "showing ambition" or some bollocks.
Probably the same ones who actively want Kane to leave because he "deserves a trophy"

I don't think Pochettino wants to return to us at this moment in time at all.

Are you on drugs? What’s he done?Being up against Real Madrid is not easy and Athletico who were at the top their game then. He’s won league titles, cups and the champions league!! His teams play great football and are very aggressive to get the ball back. What more do you want from a manager??? Fucking delusional. What's Luis Enrique done to put him in the frame? other than having a Spanish name that is...
He took over the Spain National team in 2018 and piloted them to two last 16 WC exits.
His biggest achievement with Spain in 4 years was a 3rd placed finish at the Euro's. So he's basically the Spanish Southgate?
He won some trophies with Barca (which frankly my mum could probably achieve) but failed to build a dynasty there.
Looks like another disaster waiting to happen to me.

If Poch goes to Chelsea I’m pretty sure Levy won’t be prepared for the fan unrest
If Levy doesn’t want him then what the fuck is he meant to do? He’s not going to turn down a big club like Chelsea hoping the Real Madrid job will come up as the likelihood Ancelotti will win the champions league and stay there. Is he to sit on his arse and not work?If he wants to work in London as he lives here and we're not interested whats he meant to do? I wouldnt blame him in the slightest going there if we dont want him. If we did want him and he went there instead then yes, bollocks to him.
Err yea, thats what i said. Cant blame him in the slightest going there if we dont want him. London, money to spend, good squad outside of strikers. I'm sure some will try and picture him as some sort of traitor though when it will basically be our own fault. If Levy doesn’t want him then what the fuck is he meant to do? His successes at Barca happened more than 6 years ago. He also did all of that with one of the biggest budgets in world football. Are you on drugs? Why do you think the traffic tails back when there is a car crash?Sex sells. Fear sells. Does Chaos sell?
Would be curious how the daily website clicks look on this forum for the past month (club chaos) vs. the same time period last year (successful battle for 4th). Do more people tune in to argue poor results and Manager turmoil OR for mostly winning football?
At celta Vigo he took a team who just escaped relegation and took them into 9th in La liga, which then got him the barca job. What's Luis Enrique done to put him in the frame? other than having a Spanish name that is...

That’s exactly what will happen. Whoever takes that job has a horrible job of managing the dressing room. It will be toxic with nearly 20 players not starting on a match day and a dozen not even training with the first team. How is that fixable and I wonder if Poch is the man to fix that!! I love that they are a bigger shambles than us!!Err yea, thats what i said. Cant blame him in the slightest going there if we dont want him. London, money to spend, good squad outside of strikers. This is so bizarre. Enrique would suit them more and Nagelsmann/Poch would suit us more. But just imagine them getting Poch after everything. Bloody hell![]()

Barca had just had a disappointing season and failed to win a trophy, he came in and won a treble in his first seasons and a double in his next, I don’t get why this is dismissed as being easy, how many managers can you name that have won a treble? That barca team fell apart when he left mainly because of poor investment in players like countinho and dembele.
He didn’t do great with Spain but they really don’t have a very good side at the moment it’s a far cry from the talent they had from 08-12, and also international management is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to club football, had Southgate won England the euros I would still think he’s not good enough to be spurs manager.
For me the most important thing he will bring us a clear philosophy in how we want to play, which is dominating games with the football. He will push for more technically competent footballers which we desperately need and his style is most similar to the two teams at the top of the prem at the moment. Even if he ends up being short term, the foundations will be in place to build on.
I don’t think you can really compare international tournament football to club football but even so the issue he had with Spain was converting their dominance with the ball into goals. In that sentence you could almost be describing Spurs.
We have an imbalanced squad full of players we can't sell, and a bunch of misfits sitting on loan.
Levy/ENIC are not going to start pouring in millions now. So what we need is a manager who is going to improve players.
If you can't get Spains squad past the last 16 of a WC I'm not convinced you can get a tune out of this bunch of Spurs players.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree, and see who is proven right in the long term if its him.
I think it would need to be long term to be fair but I’d rather have him than some others mentioned. If our players are coached and trained to play a different way you will see a massive improvement. You add 4 or 5 right good players to that and the whole thing looks completely different with a new formation and style. He would have us training completely different to Conte and his teams are all about sharpness and quick passing. It’s easy to train but the players we have are not in that mindset because we play in a system that is defend then break but we have to break 60 yards to goal. The energy is sapped out of them before they get to the last third. In that sentence you could almost be describing Spurs.

I just think we've tried "big" names and they haven't worked. No way Enrique will be yoked by Levy for too long.I don’t think you can really compare international tournament football to club football but even so the issue he had with Spain was converting their dominance with the ball into goals.
Spains front 3 was olmo asensio and ferran Torres, none of them are killers in front of goal, compare that to Son and Kane who’ve been scoring goals of scraps in defensive systems for years.
He is undoubtedly a risk and will need players,
But whoever we bring is going to need a different profile of player than the likes of Conte and mourinho wanted anyway.
