We do have a soft fanbase, yet it’s a vociferous one. So many in here and in the ground that are like the pissed up chancer in the pub, giving it big mouth to everyone. But you all know that when it comes to the crunch, he’d shit himself and do nothing.
Same here. Lots of shouting, booing and singing at the ground. So many angry people on here. And very few actually doing anything about the situation they claim to be so angry about. All mouth.
It's like you have decided by yourself to be the sensible person. The arbitrator of opinion. You've decided that you are expertly iyo going to give Mr Levy 'one more chance' until the end of the transfer window to decide if he isn't quite up to the job.
That's fine. It might take you 23 years to see what others see, we are all on our personal journeys of discovery. Some of us just get to some of the stages quicker. In this case a lot quicker.

A lot of us have just given up going to home games thanks to Mr Levy. Personally I don't think there is a stronger form of protest.

And that’s fine. Folk can demonstrate their displeasure in any way they see fit. But don’t expect the needle to move if the thing you are doing just involves not going and shouting on a forum.
People may want this place to be somewhere where they can spill out their guts and say how unhappy they always are about the same thing over and over again. But that’s not for me. And whilst they have that right, I’ve got the right to be a whiny bitch about them being whiny bitches.
And of course I’ve decided by myself what rope I’m going to give levy. I’m not trying to come across as sensible or anything else. Just giving my opinion to a question that was asked directly of me.

Just a completely, utterly adrift, purposeless club, with no chance whatsoever of rectifying that in the immediate term. The managerial search is both an impossible problem and a completely meaningless sideshow.
I am no Levy hater but it is so clear that the times have passed him by.
Like so many super rich and successful people before him, he believes that the way that he made it is the only way that matters and that it always will work. Which tracks with the reports that he doesn't believe that he is doing anything wrong.

So, putting aside all the daft nonsense and arguments that we all enjoy on this forum, if I am generously minded, my suspicion is that ENIC were planning on selling the club and Covid got in the way.
There is an all consuming paralysis at the club which suggests a lack of any plan. And that isn’t incompetence. Incompetence usually leads to rash judgements and knee jerk decisions. Incompetence is busy.
Instead, we have a lack of responsibility and owners that don’t seem to want that responsibility. Because they want offski.
That makes sense and matches up with his comments earlier this year about there being big news to come later in the year. ENIC may be looking to at least sell part of the club and are spinning the wheel until a deal is secured.

I think the tide has turned. A bit like Wenger at Woolwich (yes, I know he wasn't a part owner) but him being forced out would have been unthinkable a few years before it happened.
The genie really is out the bottle now. I actually feel more optimistic as a Spurs fan today than I have in years.
There's reporting on this and I posted it some time ago but CBA to find it now. It clearly implicated the potential selling of the club as the reason behind the Sammy-summer...and it suggested that one of the groups was of Saudi origin...I posted it here to counter the typical "Levy will only sell to unicorn farmers" that goes on around these parts.
That summer was always fishy and I'm sure covid didn't help. But the interesting part of that article was that the numbers being offered were like half of any of the numbers bandied about this forum
