FFS if it's gonna be Postecoglou why the fuck didn't we just get him when we had a chance of salvaging this season then???

Don't anybody try and tell me it's because he's at Celtic and they wouldn't let him go, fucking Emery was at Villarreal before moving to Villa and storming past us, Rodgers left Celtic mid-season to go to Leicester, it's not fucking outlawed, just another one of those self-imposed restrictions that we love giving ourselves...

Or that it was smart to wait for the summer, when all the best candidates are available, two summer manager searches in recent memory dispel this myth!

They are harming Spurs.

I would argue they have been indirectly harming Spurs for years.

Tottenham Hotspur is a football club and ENIC have been slowly killing the traditions of the club in pursuit of revenue.

The big money glamour signings were the first casualty. Then it was the trophy output. That has morphed into the style of play and culture at the club generally.

The right thing for Levy to do is sell the club to win now owners at a modest profit.

If he really was a Spurs supporter he would do that.

He could have sold the club to Abramovich which would have delivered the success the supporters crave and Chelsea's revolution would never have happened.

I understand that some of the people at Brighton and Brentford, who have pushed these clubs forward, only left Spurs because of Levy.

Time is up.
The football world has woken up to these fraudster, hopefully with media and fan pressure this cunt will go soon.

Haha 60 days into the search and we haven’t actually tried to hire anyone :contelol:

Is it better or worse?

I'll be honest, it makes sense that it's true because he would commit so quickly to a new contract if we didn't actually approach him.

Also makes sense that Feyenoord would big up Spurs interest to make it even more exciting for fans when he extended. Most likely they aren't going to spend much in the summer so want to keep their fans extra sweet.

These players are Spurs / Europa League level players.

Players we could get.

Players whose wages we could afford under ENIC.

Players who title chasing clubs probably wouldn't want.

Woolwich have been interested in Tielemans earlier, don’t know how we rate Newcastle but they may have a go at Maddison. Either how I don’t want any of them. Younger players with higher ceilings for a rebuild would be welcome

He used and played us so well! Congrats to him
Or maybe our proposal was so bad, he decided to go back on his "if I'm still managing in Holland in 3 years, I have failed as a manager"
We're that scary to work for.

The scary part here, is it would be far from Levys biggest mistake.
Taking a punt on AVN, who was obviously terrible st Chelsea. Sacking Jol at HT and getting a pot plant in without the pot (the DoF from Seville who was key to Ramos success)
Not backing Redknapp or Poch when real success was so close. Sacking serial winner Jose a week before a cup final.
Spending 70 days trying to replace him and ending up with quite possibly the least inspired choice anyone could ever have come up with.

By those standards, a summer of Rodgers, Maddison and Tielnmans is like watching the sun come up on a beautiful day.

Of course, we'll probably find some homeless bum from the general Tottenham area, shave and wash him, create a back story that he's a football genius and hope he can get a tune out of our relegation fodder squad.

At what point does the penny drop for Levy, that he's the problem?
No one worth hiring wants the job.
And when the next coach gets sacked, no one, not even one's not worth hiring will want the job.
