But he will be cheap, that is the important thing to remember in the recruitment process.
Tbh I'm not sure he will be.

Leicester paid Celtic 9M for Rodgers.

Postecoglu is described as having a "rolling 12-month contract". I don't know what that means.

Figures like that are just the cost of doing business these days, I'm sure it will be the same situation with Amorim, Italiano, Slot, whoever.

Oliver Glasner is on a free though!

If it isnt Naglesmann and we cant get De Zerbi, both of which seem likely then Postecoglou at least seems an impressive charachter, a bit of a leader with a personality and he obviously wants to play good football. Its not Nuno. Quite honestly i'd prefer him to the remaining candidates. I still cant quite get my head around not wanting Naglesmann though, just weird.

My opinion. Forget Nagelsmann and that kind of manager. No chance we can attract an elite manager and DOF, or whatever none you want to call it. Sorry, do not want to kill your dreams. This club is fckd as of today. All down to one person. Obviously we will get an underwhelming manager and DOF. Don’t get your hopes up. Ange Postecoglou is interested to talk. But that’s as far as it goes.

herc again

about the one time i agree with the sod

That bloke is such a cunt.

So glad.
The only coach better suited to us that was available than both Slot and Ange is Nagelsmann. Unless of course you're of the mind that every manager is available for a price. That it'd be de Zerbi.

We should be looking at coaches that are proven to improve teams they take over. Play good football. Play young players and improve players they manage.

Ange, Slot, Nagelsmann and De Zerbi are the only ones on that list that tick every single one of those boxes. There a few that tick others like Alonso and Kompany but again, they're not available.

To be honest mate I've already put you in your place when it comes to Ange and his managerial history which conveniently you knew not to reply to, so I'm surprised you replied to this one in the first place.
Put me in my place?

I chose not to continue to engage.

He'll be out by Christmas.

If he's not, I'll be happy to be wrong.

You started spouting nonsensical, lazy bollocks when it came to him and dismissed his ability to coach because of the level of leagues he's managed in.

I'm willing to bet that if we appointed him, he wouldn't be out by Christmas.

Well Celtic were managed by Neil Lennon before Postecoglou and they were miles off winning it.

I think you're missing the point...

I'm Ange-curious, but I still wouldn't be willing to make that bet.

High risk, high reward, IMO. This league would throw challenges at him like nothing he's seen both in a tactical and personality sense.

He'd deliver appealing football and he seems to have a personality and communication skills that would ingratiate him inside and outside the dressing room.

But one 4-0 tonking to a top side and the countdown to destruction is on.
