Dier not being ahead of Maguire when they play the same position is directly relevant .. I’m not going oooo Maguire plays CB for England so he must be good.
Neither are good but Maguire has the better feats over the last few years. I don’t care what Richy does for Brazil when he’s crap for us, just like if I was a United fan I wouldn’t care if Maguire was good for England but crap for them.

It's funny, they were both once considerably better players, but as very different sorts of players.
As they've both declined they've increasingly become exactly the same in terms of their strengths and weaknesses.
Yep that first goal Eric Dier scored for us was never a goal Harry Maguire could have scored. The kind of morphed in to this strange same odd cave man with Maguire better at it.
It's what happens when everyone knows we don't have a DPF or manager so even thinking about transfers or improving the squad is fully pointless

I would sure hope so, it was certainly the kind of context it would be reasonable to include one.
Don't think we have anything like that.. but the fee for his sale is incentivized based on making playoffs, promotion, eventual sale etc.
He's quite good, we're a graveyard for young players and whoever is in charge of s&c at the club should have their qualifications revoked
