Plays good football which is a start at least, a sort of Pep lite Kompany appointment (ignoring age). So not Nuno situation but still far from my first choice. In his defence Brighton wanted him over De Zerbi so he can’t be that bad.

Just so stupid when we could have had Naglesmann if according to the media we let him make or help make the DoF choice or simply took Pochettino back.

I agree, everything is so negative at the moment that someone like him who is charismatic and plays good football will be a positive. I do think the fans would take a liking to him.

I'm not saying he'll do great but as you said, we'll be alright if he gets appointed.

Really wish we'd just gone for Kompany, could have had this done 3 weeks ago. But yeah Postecoglou, decent football, clearly a leader with a strong personality. Its nothing like Nuno, the comparison is Jol.

Would say the last big name with big ego did a hell of a lot better than the last guy we hired without the credentials for this job..

Let’s not forget Conte actually got us top 4 and was just outside it when he was sacked, we ended up finishing miles off it and we’re nowhere near it under Nuno when he was hired.

We all want to play better football than we did last season, but there’s absolutely nothing to suggest this Aussie bloke is the right fit for us. Playing nice stuff with Celtic against league 1 opposition is all well and good,but this club needs a whole culture shift and a proper manager to spearhead that.

Why are we slaughtering Ange as if he’s a shit manager? Imagine Man Utd not taking a chance on Fergie all those years ago? Managing and coaching doesn’t change in terms of what he’d implement. He will be dealing with better players too. For anybody to say he’s a shit manager and a shit coach is just ignorant and lazy. Some people on here will think Mason is a better manager or coach than him which is fucking ludicrous. Managing Celtic is massive and if you don’t win every game with style and comfortably you get slaughtered. He deals with that pressure every week and he’s very impressive in how he does it. He’s takes no shit from anyone and everyone knows where they stand with him. He has transformed how they play and look like they’ll dominate for a while yet.
I’m not saying I’m dying for him to be our manager but if he is going to be there are so many out there that will be worse than him.

He did well for a 10 game spell which was great and the only enjoyment we've had in 4 years but ultimately for what? So he could treat new signings Spence and Bissouma like shit? Play football that made our eyes bleed? Look and act constantly pissed off? Like it or not, and i certainly dont, but we have to have someone of a better disposition who is adaptable with transfers to cope with the current board.

Yep, again everyone wanted the big names Van Gaal and De Boer. Didnt work out too great for them in the prem. Its not an exact science, some managers just fit certain places. He may or may not but you cant just write him off. I believe a lot of Celtic fans were like this 2 years ago and they adore him now.

He plays attacking murder ball, which is what we all want, let’s get behind him if it’s him and not write him off

Remember a lot were writing off Poch when he got the job, we’ve tried the big names and it hasn’t worked, in fact it’s taken us backwards

Poste is a decent option for what we want and I’ll give him full backing if he comes in

Poch was the De Zerbi of right now but had actually done a lot better taking a side who had only just been promoted and taken them top half of the table playing beautiful football. It was a perfect appointment, this is not like that at all.

Rodgers had Celtic playing great football and winning back to back trebles, gerrard went the season unbeaten with rangers. I wouldn’t say this fella has done an incredible job, when you have technically better players than everyone else in the league it’s much easier for them to play this way against lesser opposition.

Absolutely no way this guy should be in the running for the job, the natural progression for winning the league in Scotland is a lower mid table prem team, you then see how he does there before being in the running for a job like ours. Don’t know why we have to lower our expectations, when there were managers out there available who play good football but also have much better credentials than this guy.
