Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hmmm what do we do guys?

Trust one of the game's greatest coaches (ever) or do we side with our resident bundle of optimism Matt1882?

Tough call...
ffs, Pep has said this drivel about all sort of coaches including, but not limited to fucking Woy ffs.
Who gives a fuck what he said. He's all nice and smooshy until someone challenges him, then he turns into a thundercunt.

When I was a little boy my dad went out to work one day.
Mum stayed at home in her white nightie.
She opened the door to a beautiful Australian man.
She stopped on the stairs and she called out to me.

"Ange Postecoglu, Ange Postecoglu.
I've got an Ange Postecoglu with me."
And she moaned and she groaned as he banged my mummy from behind.
And now Postecoglu is my new daddy.

So the answer is ‘No’ then?

Well colour me surprised 😮

So the rumours that you’re on it 21 hours a day can’t be true then?

Need to step up mate!

Maybe Col_M could assist?

The Absolute GOAT The Absolute GOAT

Eh?

How is that even possible?

Again with that SC crap, seriously man you need to get some new material!

Anyway, STAYING ON TOPIC, what are your thoughts on Ange's appointment? Happy? Sad? Nonplussed?

What do people expect Guardiola to say? He was asked what he thinks about Ange. Hes hardly going to go “yeah hes a shit coach”

Mad that thats what its coming down to. What fucking Pep says

Agreed. So why have you been so unremittingly negative for days now?
Because it's a gamble I don't think was worth taking.
Because I would have taken Nagelsmann (for his work at lower German clubs) or Poch
Because I don't like how people are comparing pub leagues to the Premier league. If this guy is now qualified, there are literally hundreds of others who have succeeded in equivalent leagues that could also have came

Ange is a keen Gamer

So not off topic!

I thought that you would know that being so clever (allegedly)

My opinion on his appointment?

Pleased and we should all get behind him in the true tfc manner with no cunt offs!

I mean, Arteta was ex Woolwich player, ex City asssistant, ex Spain player, coached under Guardiola and oversaw multiple title and cup wins. I do think the jump to Woolwich was a big one, but I can see why it happened. He's had a decorated career in the tops leagues in Europe prior to that job. He was a risk and it didn't look like paying off. And let's be serious, this season could be a one season wonder yet. They could drop back off next season without a decent window IMO.

Di Zerbi took a club the size of Brighton to 2 top 8 finishes in Serie A. I think I would have seen the logic in that more than Ange tbh. Proof he can take a club to somewhere they've never been before. I don't care if I've heard of them, I just want evidence they can do it.
Arteta never got a senior cap for Spain.

You need to brush up on your footy knowledge, my man.

Was it yesterday you claimed PSG pretty much didn't exist in the 90s?...

Still boring the arse off everyone I see

I think people who try to stay positive in a bad situation probably need help.
It's fine, it's ok, my wife left me, my kids are dead, my house burnt down, my car was stolen, I got fired from my job, my health stinks but.....

Season 11 Sigh GIF by One Chicago

Ange only has control of around 30 staff. The systematic lack of motivation, apathy and shit culture emanates from the top….. and that bald megalomaniac controls all of this across all staff so unless he resigns, we are stuck in this cycle and there’s only so much Ange can influence.
I appreciate that some/much of it emanates from the top, but by its very nature is sure to seep into the areas that Ange will be responsible for and areas where he will be expected to have influence. That will have the potential to have an adverse effect on the playing side. In fact, some of the issues probably emanate from the players as well—both Conte and Jose alluded to their inability to follow instructions or becoming risk averse during games. The point I was making was that Ange will be expected to stop that rot creeping in and causing disruption, changing mind sets and creating some belief in players and coaching staff. And while he’s doing that, or attempting to, a lot of fans may get on his back before giving him a chance. Time will tell.

I get it but people should be able to at least enjoy the little wins. This season has been a real hard and nobody is saying that all our problems are solved but maybe it's a small step in the right direction.

I don't want to just be a happy clapper but I also find zero enjoyment in wanting to wallow everything wrong with Spurs at the moment. I'll take the positives where I can find it and just hope that we can improve with time. It's too much work and not enjoyable enough to be so down on it all the time.
