As long as Postecoglou gets his team to play the attacking, energetic, positive football he's known for, he's onto a winner with the fans. He cannot fail, even if we lose. If we score, it'll be thanks to him, but if we concede it'll be the fault of one or two defenders - at least for a while*.

Then we didnt really improve much . Brighton are only 2 points ahead of us and that is only because we imploded near the end of the season. Getting back ahead of them shouldnt be a difficult task . A little bit of squad improvement should deal with them.
We've got to make top 5 and if we dont...at least see some very significant changes in performances...maybe score 10 more goals and be one of the better defenses or dominate possession in our games (except against the likes of city. )

Kennedy took over as interim manager before Ange for 14 games and the team performed worse. He's known for taking over certain match tactics which have always been a weak part of our play. Defence and set pieces. He was kept on because he had a knowledge of the club as he's went from player to coaching staff, got on well with the chairman as a non threatening yes man and knew the players and background settings that Ange benefited from. How he'll adapt with such inexperience to the EPL with a large club... Time will tell.

Regarding Ange's appointment, I think it's legitimate to wonder whether his performance as our head coach will be affected - one way or another - by our Board's actions (or lack of), considering our recent history. I'm fine with people from both camps debating whether he'll get the backing, to what extent etc.
But yes, unfortunately there's always some on here using a new thread to take a shot at the opposition. And I ain't saying it's more often the Pro-Levy's doing the shooting...As far as I'm concerned, dudes like

were totally within their right - and this thread's remit - to express their doubts about the big fella's appointment, seen how he's never managed in the PL etc. I've not read every single one of their posts (I'm not like LP, I got a life), but I can't recall them making it about Levy/ENIC...they and others starting getting bashed by the other side just because they don't agree with them about our owner & chairman. It had nothing to do with their views on Ange in the end. Weirdly, things started getting toxic again once our resident Truthmaster got involved...toujours la meme histoire.Anyway. Only thing that matters is the big fella does us a cracking job and we get back to our glory days.
