Maybe 30 mill in July but someone thinks the price could be 20 mill on Aug 31st

Just yesterday, we covered the Italian media bringing an update on Tottenham Hotspurs’ pursuit of AS Roma defender Roger Ibañez.
It was claimed by Giallorossi.net that Spurs are interested in the Brazilian, but are not willing to spend over €20m on his signing, despite the initial request of €40m for his sale.
Now as Gazzetta Dello Sport today features a story on Ibañez’s future, they bring some news which sounds very positive for Tottenham.
The outlet makes it clear that the 24-year-old ‘is leaving’ Roma this summer. And the amount the Serie A side intend to make with his sale this month is actually €30m.
It’s pointed out how ‘popular’ Ibañez is in the Premier League, with Tottenham named as one of the clubs who are interested in him.
Now the most interesting update is that, according to Gazzetta, the centre-back ‘has his suitcase ready’ to leave the Giallorossi, and the club actually need the concrete offers to be made ‘quickly’ so they can be fine with Financial Fair Play. The transaction would need to be done before the end of June.
That undoubtedly makes it an advantageous situation for Tottenham, who can use the deadline to force Roma to give a bigger discount on the transfer.

Sancho isn't that good tbh. Doesn't have that burst of pace to get past full backs and generally makes bad decisions.

He's good. Not world class but definitely good. Right sided CB (that has played a bit on the left) and a aggressive presser like Romero. But doesn't seem as card crazy as Romero. Only 9 yellows in Serie A this season and was sent off once. This reads as Roma feel confident they have NDicka for free and now want to create a market to sell a CB as they have a replacement ready and could use the cash.
either way, is Ibanez any good?
I cant believe we are in for him or any Man U player. We wont sit down with them to talk about any player because of not wanting to sell them Kane.

He's good on the ball and not slow either, so somewhat an exciting player one would say. Unfortunately he's got that Aurier thing about him. Coughs up stupid penalties where you can’t fathom why he'd even challenge in a non-dangerous situation, and sometimes gets too comfortable on the ball and gets dispossessed. Overall a good player but with flaws to his game. If it's between him, Lenglet and Maguire then Ibanez would be the obvious choice
I would not mistake riddled. he's calmer than both Romero and Aurier. But he does have a few in him.So Ibanez is mistake riddled? do we just intentionally go for these type of players?

Been at Atalanta and now Roma.
Maybe not the calm presence next to Romero that we have been looking for. But he could be a decent alternative to Romero.

He's not a specialist RCB. He's played a fair few games as the left sided one. He's just right footed.Would be shocked if the club is signing a specialist RCB this summer when we need x2 that can play LCB.
Would be pretty typical Spurs though.
Strong as a pure defender, good in the air. Kind of Gabriel-level I'd say. Definitely an upgrade on Dier, but not the transformative CB signing we'd get in ideally. This reads as Roma feel confident they have NDicka for free and now want to create a market to sell a CB as they have a replacement ready and could use the cash.

This is a guy we should go get. A real defender who is aggressive and actually takes pride in his defending but is capable with the ball too. £25 million is a steal and at 24 he’s the perfect age.![]()

Agree with this. Good player, wouldn't complain if we signed him, as comfortable on the left as on the right. Would be a great signing if it was a compliment to an outright first choice lcb.. I don't see us spending 25m plus on two centre backs. He's good. Not world class but definitely good. Right sided CB (that has played a bit on the left) and a aggressive presser like Romero. Because Transfermarkt is known for its accurate transfer market valuations.
Haaland's valuation is €170 million (£145 million). What do you think City's response would be if Florentino Pérez phoned them and offered them that?
