Now this is ambition. A club just paying what it takes to get a player.
go on, who will bite
....the bald cunt??......
Almost feels like we really did ignore all the red flags though, for which there were many.
Big clubs doing big things. Signing Bellingham and hosting multiple Beyonce concerts isn't for everyone and that's what differentiates clubs like Real Madrid and us from everyone else. Now this is ambition. A club just paying what it takes to get a player.

Yeah he's going to be a bonkers player. Pure class.
He's too slight and slow for the prem, at this point at least.
Too early in his career to come over here.
Had a look around to see what the general scout on him isJust watched a YouTube video. Not that impressed, he doesnt have the electric speed needed to be a top wide forward. Lots of flicks and jinks are not enough.
Brighton"Hi Daniel, we're used to be the Prem's Borussia. Any chance going back to them days? Be a good strategy that, perhaps instead of trying to copy Brentford & Brighton's models? Whatcha fink? Ta da."
Not often I disagree with you, my man, but there were enough reports about his poor attitude, laziness, him butting heads with coaches about training etc.In our defence, there's no way we could have known that mcflurry runs through his veins.
These are cumulative stats and PEH practically plays every minute of the season. He’s still played 200 more minutes than Rodri. Not sure why people are so desperate to be rid of Hojbjerg. Let's compare him with Champion Rodri......
Pretty comparable, but 2 stats stand out - poor at winning aerial balls and gets Dispossessed more often.
He's also way ahead of Jorginio, Henderson and Party in virtually all stats.
Essentially, on paper, Hojbjerg is one of the best (defensive) midfielders in the league.
Hojbjerg Rodri Appearences 35 36 Goals 4 2 Assist 5 6 Cleansheets 10 5 Interceptsions 49 33 Aerial Battles won 27 72 Errors leading to goals 0 1 Pass Completion 88% 91% Through Balls 10 2 Dispossessed 35 19

I was in France rather often back then, not far away from Lyon and got to make friends with a fair few of their supporters, even a couple OL-following journos. They were all in agreement that Dombs had gold in his feet but shit in his brains.
Our scouting dept & bosses just got all dripping wet after seeing him play well vs Barca and other top sides in the CL. Aulas (OL presie) saw us coming and took us to the cleaners. They'd bought him for less than 10mil a year or so prior, no way we shoulda spent more than 30-35 on him. Or better...we should've stayed well clear of him, but our in-house geniuses decided to ignore them negative reports...or they didn't even friggin know they existed. Wouldn't be the first time due diligence wasn't done...
Since when have we ever been at Real Madrid’s level?Big clubs doing big things. Signing Bellingham and hosting multiple Beyonce concerts isn't for everyone and that's what differentiates clubs like Real Madrid and us from everyone else.
Borussia been doing it for ever, pal. Same with Ajax. Both European juggernauts compared to Brighton.Brighton

Signed Cucerella for £15m sold for £65m
Signed Ben White £5m sold for £55m
Signed Dan Burn £3m sold for £15m
Pending - Moises Caicedo - signed for £5m
Seriously, they're a better Dortmund than Dortmund are based on a) the frequency with which they turn a profit on players and b) they seem to get better every time they do it because they use the money to sign more good players
Thank god he wasn’t or we never would have won all these trophies in the last 4 years. All well and good doing a Dortmund but we'd all be complaining about being a selling club more often than not.
Kane would have been sold 4 years ago for a start.
Exactly why weren’t we after ndicka then? Not as though Roma is a massive draw. Europa sure but certainly we could’ve offered a better deal. Not judging the player but this would be helping Roma out big time. They just signed NDicka for free and now we pay them hard cash for the player he’s replacing…
