I think if we offered 30m for Raya and 45m for Maddison we would get a good return on the money in today's market..... I like Raya and he had been my choice since January. But I'm not sure I'd want to make him the fourth most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the sport when he has 11 months left on his deal. I'd take him for 25m and layer it with future CL qualification bonuses. If we don't get Raya, then I'd be all over Mamardashvili. Though that Vicario we've been linked with statistically looks a great replacement too.

I've made my feeling known on wanting Eze over Maddison. Think he suits an Ange team alot more. And I think would be worth spending money on over some of the feed banded about for Maddison with one year left on his contract

Raya I wouldn't move on... I think he is ideal, although the 2 you mentioned aren't bad shouts to be fair, I just don't think they are as good a fit. Eze is a great shout, I just worry about his injuries.
Listen, I just don't want to be disappointed by this window. We need massive investment, we will all be behind Ange coz he plays the football we love. I just hope we get some quality in, whoever it maybe and with the new style of play I hope Richarlison will show what he is capable of and play like we see in the Brazilian side.

If a suitable alternative can be found, by all means go for it, but GK is a tricky position and I think the club has made the decision that this is the Lloris succession plan they can live with.

I also think giving him the armband is a key piece of the Kane plan.

We're pot committed here and Brentford knows it.
 
The fee suggested is a lot of cash. Not seen much of him to really judge, but I would be looking at Dean Henderson myself. He ain’t £40m. Is home grown and a very decent keeper.
 
Why are Brentford being so weird about Raya?

One of their fans has posted an argument they had with Fabrizio Romano accusing him of receiving money from Raya’s agent :ange-lol:

We could get lucky and sign a keeper that adapts quickly, but history suggests otherwise with our recruitment
