That can't be all you base a player on considering you've watched Dier numerous times and not seen him defend a single ball properly

The fact that you don't know who they are doesn't automatically make them shit. Raya's a good keeper but 40m worth? Maybe at a stretch.

How many of Brighton's players had you heard of or watched before they blew up and got pinched by big PL clubs? All bought for low fees and, Brighton's recent improvement aside, moved on to bigger teams. Of which we are one, whether trophy-successful or not. We're obviously not at that level of scouting, but it's moves like this that suggest we're going in the right direction.

He had a year on his contract and they have to sell for ffp, will be mostly profit compared to another who has longer
 
I like the look of Vicario

He is clearly an amazing shot stopper who has risen to top tier in italy through hard work coming through the lower leagues (really not that dissimilar to David Raya)

He will be a serious upgrade on Lloris who has been shocking for years now and if he can get to grips with the English language quickly he could prove to be a really big asset to the club.

It'll also be classed as Ange's first signing for the club so i have faith that Vicario is going be rock solid

We dont have Brightons scouting team and there is nothing to suggest that this isnt just yet another cheap punt that is likely to backfire.

If you go back to the Gollini thread I'm sure it was full of people bigging up his stats and talking about what a great prospect he was
