They’ve got in to full North Korea propaganda vibes where literally nothing other than ‘this player is amazing, I love him’ is acceptable and asking any kind of question is suddenly interpreted as ‘This guy is shit, I hate him, spend more on him!’.

It’s pointless. Same as last summer where any dissent from the norm was squashed out by the usual subjects, only for those same people to be moaning 6 months down the line.

Maybe just do a bit of research on a player before commenting on him and making yourself look uninformed?

I knew nothing about him but did some reading and came to the conclusion he might not be a bad signing if he is a product of the new way we want to recruit. But we better have watched him too as I'm more of a fan of the eye test.

You've been sin binned so no idea if you can read this, but the point stands.

I watched this highlight Vicario and a few others on youtube. He looks good at making outrageous save but seems to, at times, be lacking at holding on to the ball and rather punches it out. I dont know his footwork but I think he is a Good punt at 16 million.

Have we announced who our goalie coach is? Got to wonder if they might work on him to iron out a few of those problems in his game, which will be more exposed in the PL.

Up there with this one from summer 19

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

There's a lot of fans on here that have exactly this. A little knowledge. They've seen or heard of a player, or a coach and, because of that, assume they're an expert on them. This can be both positive or negative. "Player X is amazing, I'm so pumped, we're so lucky he's signed for us, this is what he will do for our team" etc. Only for that not to happen.

Or "Player Y is a lumbering idiot, with no pace and he's a bit of a prick and I hate him, I want my tottenham back"

I prefer to be blissfully ignorant of all of them. I have no idea who they are, what they'll bring to a team and no expectation as to whether they will succeed or fail. Just because they're good or bad elsewhere doesn't translate directly into any other team.

We're not the only team to have signed players off the back of good form. Chelsea and United both signed Lukaku after brilliant seasons for Everton and Inter respectively. United signed Sanchez off the back of a brilliant few seasons at Arse. Real signed Hazard off the back of literally carrying Chelsea for at least 2 seasons. And on and on and on.

In summary, none of you cunts know anything even if you have seen these players, so pipe down.

He looks like a great shot stopper but havent seen many videos where he is a safe pair of hands and can catch the ball from crosses, corners free kicks etc

Im sure he'll be a good signing though given a couple of seasons to grasp the English language and command the area like he does in Serie A

The Mercurial No.10 The Mercurial No.10 and Deuterz Deuterz in one day!?

Drink it in. Because you'll never see anything like this ever again.

Thank Christ for that, the Woolwich twerker needed to be humbled, he's been spamming up this thread trolling with absolute shite for a while, maybe he'll find a hobby in the meantime and touch grass.

All we need is John Thomas to be binned for a while and happy days 😆

Glad to see us moving on from Raya. I’d still love to have him but brentford really tried to screw us on the fee. I could get used to a transfer strategy of moving on quickly to other targets instead of having shit linger for weeks and weeks.

All keepers take a while to get going too of course and he will need time to get used to the English game. Hopefully people give him a chance, but I suspect a lot of people have already made up their minds and wont. He'll need a better defence in front of him though or else it's pointless bringing him or anyone else in.

Church.

Most of us were excited about Ivan and Richarlison joining the team last summer and our most successful signing turned out to be the back-up goalkeeper.

Totally different manager. Different set-up. A lot of changes. Just wait and see what happens. It’s pointless getting worked up about it right now. I mean, Ange might decide that the best players to fit his system are Messrs Winks and Maguire (I fucking hope not, but if it works …)
