My guess is Liverpool trying to loom in the background of Tapsoba, so we force the issue by taking an active interest in their target.
Maybe similar to Raya as well, if Leverkeusen won't be reasonable on price for Tapsoba, we have previous for just getting another deal done, quick.

People seem to forget just how athletic Jan was. He was no slouch either.
