Now THIS is entitled.

Linked with two quality young options and sulking that we can’t get both.
We’ve got one centre back. Is it really entitled to think we might buy two more? Jesus, you hoping Sanchez comes good this season or perhaps Rodon dazzles pre season. We need both, 3 senior players for 2 positions isn’t entitled you terror

Nothing I say will change your mind. You will continue to be angry and entitled but 90% of people will see how ridiculous you are and you won’t.

It’s also factually incorrect to say we have one centreback. Why not describe reality accurate?

We have one centre back. I’m cool with promoting a yoot but there’s f all there either.

These aren’t downside players like Bastoni, low wages. We need two CB’s this summer, if one is a low cost promising talent from Champ, Japan whatever all good

Well with Bissouma anchoring them.

Those guys are the creative fulcrums of the team.

I can see perhaps one of them playing the 8 in a similar way to how Matt O'Riley does for Celtic, but no chance of both.

Bissouma is perfect for the McGregor role, absolutely. Good and comfortable on the ball, happy to receive it from the centre backs and turn and good at breaking lines with his passing.

Celtics #8s tended to drift out wide, which is where I think Kulusevski could excel in the role. Not only would he be able to creative from the middle, but he can also go out wide when the inverted pull back moves in to offer a bit more superiority in the middle.

I just think playing Maddison and Kulusevki in a midfield three with Bissouma behind them would be as stupidly naive as ten Hag was when he thought playing Eriksen and Fernandes in a midfield three was a good idea too.

I think we may see something different from Ange though tbh. Kane isn't his typical striker (Though funnily enough Son would be). So I have a feeling he will be giving us something different to what we saw at Celtic but within the same high energy, high pressing philosophy.

I’m sure that we could buy two more.

To expect to get two of the most sought after young center backs in Europe without European football and with bigger clubs circling would be Madridista levels of entitlement.
These aren’t mega signings…. If one goes to City or areal fair enough but they aren’t mega wages / agents players. If we can get both, we should

I don't mind Kilman. I've seen him play in futsal tournaments and he's really really good with the ball at his feet but the prices being quoted for him are ludicrous. Especially when Nathan Collins, who is a better overall player, has just gone to (or close to) Brentford for about 25m.

He's not going to be a starter here, so in all honesty, I'd rather we went forward with Adarabioyo. Statistically, there really isn't much in it between the both of them but Tosin is a lot better aerially and moving forward with the ball.
I didn't even know Nathan Collins moved. Think he has massive potential.

100% when you have a player you tweak the system surely

We needed a CB in January and didn't get one, I'm expecting no more than four incomings, it's all about clearing the deck and keeping the wage bill under control.
Usually the squad is always a couple light going into a new season, and I don't expect any changes on that score.
If the club keeps Harry, which will be hard , if he is looking around for better, at least he should be for a player of his standard.

Depends n the players, at club level you can bring in players. At international level you can only use the players available.

Fair.

But he's also inheriting a team that's played 3 at the back and has players suited to it. I don't think he will go with 3 at the back, there may be times where out position on the pitch may resemble a 3 at the back with the left back tucking inside whilst our right back bombs forward and vice versa but that's about it.

Biss is surely the 6?

Def agree on Kulu as the advanced 8.

Sarr is the one that I want to see as an 8 in this system. People forget he's known fir a having a rocket shot on him and was much more attacking before he came to Spurs.

McGregor is Celtics 6 and Bissouma will play that role effortlessly.

Kulu can do the O'Riley role but I don't think we have the profile of Hatete in the squad to play the other central midfield position. Maybe Sarr and/or a fully fit Bentancur.
