Big future. Ange is apparently taking him along to pre-season. Hope he has a great one
Love the way he points (1:34) to his teammate to get into position, natural leader!

Something about the way this has been reported just feels like we are being set up.
I’ve never negotiated a multi million euro deal myself .Laughable really. Probably one of the easiest multi million deals to negotiate. The player is the player, you need to keep him happy, his agent happy and then close with the club. Hardly any complexities around scope etc. should be able to thrash out key terms for a player like this in a day
The entitlement came from expecting 2 at this price and quality.
expecting 80m+ on centrebacks is entitlement. Hoping for it is another thing.
How would you describe getting upset about the possibility that your football team won’t spend 80m+ on centrebacks? It’s not entitled in anyway.
Its not the reality of the owners at the club, doesn’t make it entitled.
Entitled would be the owners of the club expecting a finish above 6th.

We have needed good CB’s for 3 seasons. 80m is very reasonable considering the lack of proper activity prior.
Lots of things can be reasonable in isolation but anyone with any maturity can see that there are lots of competing needs and lots of factors outside our control. We have needed good CB’s for 3 seasons. 80m is very reasonable considering the lack of proper activity prior.

Not only Ange! That's the kinda never say die spirit that gives Ange a raging boner![]()

To demand two specific centrebacks come in is not realistic and is entitled.
I’m not upset at all. I labelled the post entitled because it was to anyone with a developed sense of maturity. When grown men say it « sucks » that we can’t have both shiny objects (that we’ve likely never seen play) and that a real team would just buy both… that’s petulant. He wasn’t getting upset.
He was explaining why he thinks we won’t get two targets.
The only person getting upset is you, telling people off for putting their thoughts across.

Please read and respond to what I have written, not just hash out your pre-existing views on what we need at centreback. No it isn’t entitled. We have a mess at CB created by club activity, 2 CB’s is a min, we probably need 3.
Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga aren’t good prem defenders, their sales money can be put towards the CB’s but the 20-30m doesn’t cover the probably 80m or so we need so that’s 50-60m which isn’t to much to ask of a top level Prem team.

Teams just go out and buy two in-demand young centrebacks do they? How often does that happen. Go….
He’s nowhere near his peak but I would much rather bring him in as fourth choice than stick with absolute clowns like Tang, Sanchez and DierHe's a good player and potential to be probably the best CB we've produced in recent years and hope he gets opportunities next season on the bench or in cup games but I don't think he should be 4th choice CB as I saw a couple of people suggest on twitter recently. He only just turned 18 and was just about breaking in to the u21 team towards the end of last season. Probably full season with u21s next season, maybe January loan if he's doing well and can see where he's at next year.
Crazy but I like it. Porro will be fine in attack for us- plenty of attacking skills and great shooting.Vicario
Royal Romero Van De Ven Davies
Bissouma
Kulusevski Maddison
Porro Kane Son
Davies is a sore thumb, that's a pretty speculative position shift for both Kulu and Porro, but I dunno, maybe just about getting there?
Considering how we’ve neglected the CB position, and that we’ve just conceded 60 goals this season I really don’t see it as entitlement. The entitlement came from expecting 2 at this price and quality.
