Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't know if Postecoglou will be a success or not. But I also know that the people who are so over the moon about him don't know either.

Nobody knows but I think it is a case of at least trying something new. And that in itself is an exciting proposition.

The fact is that we have tried two supposed serial winners and both of them torched the place before leaving. Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result.

It is outright snobbery (this is not directed at you) from many Spurs fans to dismiss Postecoglou and some of the reasons that people are giving for this being doomed to failure are straight up laughable and easily dismissed.

There's not the slightest bit of evidence to suggest any money raised from third party stadium events is being used to invest in the football team. None whatsoever.
Stop pretending there is and start supporting the football team rather than a couple billionaire spivs fattening their wealth off the back of it.:coys:

What about the half a billion invested in the squad over the last few seasons? Or are you ignoring that bit?

Following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as our new Head Coach, we can now confirm Ange’s team of coaching staff.
We are delighted to welcome Chris Davies and Mile Jedinak to the Club, and Rob Burch back to the Club, to join up with Ryan Mason and Matt Wells.
Chris, who has previously worked on the coaching staff at Swansea City, Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester City, joins as Senior Assistant Coach.
Ryan Mason has been appointed Assistant Coach, along with our former Academy player and coach Matt Wells, who worked alongside Ryan during his spell in interim charge at the end of last season.
Mile, a former captain of the Australia national team under Ange, also joins the coaching staff as Assistant Coach following a spell as a youth coach and Loan Development Coach at Aston Villa. He previously played in the Premier League for both Villa and Crystal Palace.
A product of our youth set-up and former goalkeeper with us in the early-2000s, Rob returns to the Club as First Team Goalkeeping Coach, having previously served as Academy Goalkeeping Coach until 2019. He has since held coaching roles with the Football Association, Fulham, AFC Bournemouth and Club Brugge.
Our new team of coaching staff will begin work alongside Ange on 1 July.

No Vio - I thought our set pieces had picked up somewhat with him on board…

Getting Jedi could be a master stroke. My biggest concern for Ange at Spurs was how he might be undermined by player cabals and agent shenanigans. Mile has been through all of that in the EPL and will know all the tricks. Brilliant means of short circuiting problems, so well done Ange... who has clearly started work despite it not being 1 July yet.

I'd assume calling Jedinak was the first thing he did after getting the job...
