Because everyone has bigger squads doesn’t mean it can’t be done but I do agree that with a smaller squad you need to avoid serious bad luck with injuries.

Spurs and avoiding bad luck is not something that, traditionally, I'd ever think of putting faith in.

I think it would also put more pressure on the club to get the academy sorted and start producing more players that are capable of stepping up and filling in then becoming regulars.

That's not an overnight thing....... And it would be bullshit to just tell Ange to suck it up and maker do in the meantime.

None of what you're citing is befitting of a club with expectations of being in and around the top 4 (and a fanbase desperate for silverware)..... It all sound a bit like Leeds of recent seasons.

It is the managers job to man manage but 30 players to keep happy is very difficult. As I said before if there’s squad of 30 then 10 will likely not train with the first team anyway.

I've not once condoned a 30man squad.... Quote the opposite if you look at my initial posts on the matter.... I started off saying that we need to get from the 30-odd that we have down to 25.... Meanwhile you're still espousing a model that no top clubs adhere to.

Same here. 15 hour flight to Japan and the girl next to me didn't get up once.

Let Perisic play in his preferred position at left wing, and i think he will do a good job for us! The only one in the squad that could put some decent crosses in before Porro arrived.

It’s easy to forget that Perisic was returning from jnjury at the start of the season and it obviously took him a while to get up to speed.

He and Gil are the only 2 pure wingers we have in the squad. Both can play either side if needed.

With the addition of Maddison, I do think we have enough attacking firepower. Just fix up that defense

What’s he on? About 10m for the year? We aren’t replacing a player like for like for less than that. Although I’d be more keen on him as a rotation option with Son. Seemed to me that his attacking from the left side of defence had a negative effect on Son last season.
Mixture of a Son niggling injury and both players treading on each other's toes meant we did not see the best of either last season. Son flat out for 75 or 80 and then Ivan as a sub if that didn't work sounds a plan to me.

So much wrong with this picture. Firstly, the only photographs he has is of Harry. Dozens of them! Secondly, just looking at the alignment of the photos is making my OCD go off the charts.
You know what annoys me the most? The bookmark ribbon of the diary is lying along the desk...he either has no need for it or he doesn't know what it's for...
