If we start the season with Dier and Lenglet I am done, we need two quality Centre halves in ASAP otherwise Ange is on a hiding to nothing
Yes! That’s why people are looking at how much goons are spending regardless of whether they are vfm. We are scrimping again looking to buy only one of the CBs and then cheapo lengket who is totally unsuitable for Ange ball. As well as keeping dier. Who is making these decisions?

Winning the league in any country, is certainly worth more than, winning nothing at his current club.
If he is motivated by anything at all, I'm guessing ending his career decorated, rather than ending his days at Nearly Hotspur FC.
Decorated is winning lots of leagues and cups over a long period. That’s not going to happen for Harry Kane. If he goes to Bayern or even Madrid he’ll be replaced in 3 years max and so he’d need to win everything going to be classed as having a decorated career.

Can’t believe so many would turn their nose up at 80m plus add ons for Kane… we absolutely must sell him and get him out of the PL if he won’t sign a new deal. I couldn’t stand to see him reunited with Poch at Chelsea next season on a free

He will win more than he can by staying here, regardless of if he wins 2 or 10 trophies.
Something is better than nothing is the old adage.

I’m not sure he wants to leave at all. He’s not really giving any indication that is the case. Fuck knows if this is the case but he seems settled in London and still looks like he’s enjoying his football here even though we were shit last season. He will have that wee bit of excitement too that a new manager brings.

It would be lovely if you are right.

Of course; everything becomes clear in time and despite him obviously having his head turned by City a couple of years ago all the noise surrounding him is just other people projecting.

So spurs are of a level where we should consider giving time to a right back who isn't good enough to start for Rennes?

As long as we are clear on where spurs aim to be
Well you take that further and say barca totally screwed and laughed all the way to bank when selling royal. Don’t think he played much for them either. They are doing same with lengket and we are suckers. Don’t tell me royal is a trier either. His shit and can’t beat a man or cross the ball. Totally useless fir Ange system.

In fairness to them… they’re moving quickly.

Prob now done after him rice and havertz

He plays rb? They play white there so looks to be a quality alternative unlike what we go for like lengket. He may or may not be good but at least the current rb knows there is a £40M player who could step in so would have improve his own performances. Just the sort of competition you need.

He was taken on by Rennes to cover their regular right back who I think was/is also their captain who was out injured. He played some games until the regular right back was fit again. He earned some good reviews at first.

I don't know whether Spence will turn out any good, time will tell. I don't blame Conte for not trying him although I did find it strange he didn't get more of a look in considering at the time Conte didn't seem to know who he wanted to play at right back.

It was Conte who labelled Spence a 'club signing', indicating he didn't really want him. And this is where I do blame Conte. You work with what you have and as a manager he should be good enough to get something out of the players in front of him. Effectively publically trashing Spence, Danjuma and I think Gil as 'club signings' he didn't want or approve is not helpful to anyone - the players or the club - all of whom will be around far longer than Conte was ever going to last.

Conte gets the blame because he acted like a petulant little shit who had a tantrum when he wasn't getting his own way.
100% cunte he didn’t need to call them out like that! Could have just not played them and said not ready.
