Yes, you are.

That's fine of course.

Love the club, HATE the owners.

It's Tottenham Hotspur FC, not ENIC FC.

Some on here need to be reminded of this fact....daily.

A penalty against QPR in a terrible game.

I remember it well and I love Hoddle.

I'm not saying Hoddle wasn't great.

But anyone who says Hoddle didn't go missing at times is just wrong.

His NLD record, against a pretty poor Woolwich team for the vast majority of his Spurs career, is a real problem. Hoddle didn't miss many of these games through injury. He just rarely played well in these games.
Harry goes missing for long periods in a game too but will then score. Hoddle could be quiet then split a defence with a pass to win a the game.
I’d rather Harry scored in a semi and a final and not a NLD to brutally honest and so would most supporters. By the way I love Kane because of what he’s done for us but Hoddle was my boyhood hero so I’m biased.

Sell one of the greatest strikers in premier league history and replace him with a supremely average 27 year old striker with one good quarter season in the top flight?

no chance Levy would go down that Frazier Campbell route again, He'd be flayed.
Watkins works hard and whilst he won’t match a third of Kanes goals, he could graft for Son to bag. Forget a Kane replacement, never happening so we need to think smart and spread the impact across the front 5. Maddison helps too

The lesson for me is get a settled squad as soon as possible, integrate as soon as possible, develop the system as soon as possible and hit the ground running.

We have a history of taking for fucking ever with the above and worse still, making signings after the season has started - why the window doesnt close the day before the season starts I don’t know.

We have the Kane thing going on - not our fault, and we are about to embark on a trip half way around the world to play some friendlies against a couple of sides no more than a couple of hours away from us without what is likely going to be our preferred centre back pairing.

I agree that it is important to do it all as soon as possible and the window being open so late definitely makes it more difficult.

The CB stuff is frustrating, I'm just not convinced that it is our dithering that is causing the issue though. We have shown willingness in the last few windows to do early deals where early deals can be done but it is not always in our control. Levy is not the only person in the game that likes to move goalposts and play games, though to appease the out'ers I will happily admit that he cost us some deals in the past due to his love for a bit of brinkmanship.

Hopefully, we will get the guy we are after, and a second CB which, while may not be as early on in the window as we'd hoped, will still make me feel a LOT better about our team.

Was shit last year but can be a decent back up to Son IMO. We won’t sign anyone better is the point I’m making
Vlahovic would be available if Kane went and he’s a big upgrade on Richarlison. Sonny could be a striker in Ange’s system. He doesn’t ask his striker to try link up. He wants him to stretch teams by running in behind and be between the posts and in the 6 yard box when it’s wide in the final third.

The guy who scored 16 league goals over the last 2 seasons on one of the best teams in Serie A is a big upgrade on Richy?
