Villa owners won’t dither about.

Reckon this will be the “we tried” excuse for Tapsoba.

Liverpool hijack VDV and all the “we tried” excuses fall into place perfectly for mr Daniel.

Welcome to Tottenham Ange. Previous managers already have a WhatsApp support group.

You're gonna give yourself another ulcer.

This is the same villa that got lauded here for not dithering, "decisively" and "swiftly" swooping for Barca's DOF only for him to laugh at them after it was announced.

Good grief... I'm not one of those people who thinks we need to hold on to Kane at all costs - there is a rapidly approaching future where he won't be a Spurs player, either due to a transfer, a contract running out, or age. If we can get a substantial, fair price for him, and it's what the player wants, I wouldn't want him here against his will. We could use that money to invest in the squad.

Would we be able to directly replace him? Of course not. He's a once-in-a generation talent.

Would we be weaker or stronger without him? Only time can tell. Of course we would be different, no matter what.

All that being said, journalists incessantly trying to hype up a move when there's basically nothing concrete to report is getting so, so old at this point.

Just checked the story in the Spanish edition of As (by the way, the word means "ace"). They reckon PEH is their nº1 priority, Simeone is a big fan apparently and Hoj wants to play in the CL. After they sold Kondogbia to Marseille, a new pivote is their most pressing need and he's the prime target. The only possible hitch is the asking price of €45 million.

Full story in Spanish, tho I've given you the salient details above

I should add that they got €8 million for Kondo and today sealed the deal to sell Marseille the Brazilian defender Lodi for €13 million...
