We already signed Maddison. Be realisticNo
The player they've signed is a poor man's Joe Rodon
Plus they needed to fix their defence , we didn't need to
Woolwich are rubbish and we are great , stop crying like a baby
‘Have we really seen the best of Rodon. I think he’ll thrive under Ange’.Reckon we're around 2 weeks away from 'Udogie/Davies/Emerson can do a job at centre back'
Of course, you also think the one that preceded it was completely pointless too, yeah?
Did you also know that without ENIC we'd have beat Coventry in the FA Cup back in 87....?![]()
Exactly‘Have we really seen the best of Rodon. I think he’ll thrive under Ange’.
They’re in the Champions League, how could we possibly try and compe…. Wait a minute, weren’t we in the Champions League last season when we signed Lenglet on loan….
Didn't think he was that highly rated , not like De ligt was a few years back at Ajax.how'd Arse get him at that price, supposedly they valued him at 60 million to stop united from taking him last summer, and then he signed a new contract.
regardless it is annoying to see them get business done while we piss about with our key position for the second summer in a row . hopefully we wont end up with lenglet on loan again![]()
So we’ve had 23 bad windows is it? Or we’ve never had a good window? What is the point you’re trying to make.As evidence, mate. Read the post and don't take it out of context.
We can't use fake quotes and fake data, but we can use 23 years of previous transfer windows to form a reasoned opinion on how things will play out.
Seems a pretty reasonable argument to me, matey
Don't you mean 7th window in a row.how'd Arse get him at that price, supposedly they valued him at 60 million to stop united from taking him last summer, and then he signed a new contract.

Take out Romero the rest are relegation team defenders.Their need was greater than ours. We have Rodon, Sanchez, Tanganga and Dier to battle it out to start with Romero.

Nothing to worry about though.
Levy is a bad man? Just a stab in the dark...So we’ve had 23 bad windows is it? Or we’ve never had a good window? What is the point you’re trying to make.
I'd rather him have the options of VDV and Tapsoba to work that magic with.Let's see is Ange can work his magic before rushing to make a judgement
Don't you mean 7th window in a row.
Summer 2020 - Wanted Skriniar signed Rodon
Winter 2021 - Still needed at least 1 defender
Summer 2021 - Signed Romero talked about a second CB that window
Winter 2022 - Failed to sign Skriniar again
Summer 2022 - Wanted at least 2 CBs then the Bastoni saga and finally we signed Lenglet on loan
Winter 2023 - Everyone knew we needed a CB signed our main target a 4 rb/rwb released Doherty.
At this point it’s at the line where incompetence meets sabotage. Also summer 2019 and winter 2020 were two windows where we should have taken steps to strengthen the centre backs because Toby and Jan were no longer the forces they were and were on the way down in form and fitness
I'd rather him have the options of VDV and Tapsoba to work that magic with.
