Can’t be arsed looking (as I think it’s all a bit of a non event) but is the West Ham chairman/Brady out there?
Is it really abnormal for the chairman to enjoy a freebie on the club tour? Until now it’s sailed over my head whether the chairman or the tea lady go out on tour with the squad.
I guess the tea lady would have more use, but hey ho.

I remember Daniel opening or closing the NY stock exchange one pre season.

Going on tour and meeting existing and potential sponsors is an important part of his job I’m sure.

When people asked him to step back from the day to day running of the football club they mean him being the DOF, negotiating transfers, recruitment, strategy, scouting etc..

No-one had being out on tour as part of football operations on their bingo card, what an incredible reach. 😆
Right, him stepping back from anything football related, which includes training.

You sound like you're taking my opinions as a personal affront now, saying that a preseason football tour isn't part of football operations just comes across as purposefully obtuse.

Didn't Levy also go to South Korea last year? I have a vague memory of a video with him arriving at the airport and walking side by side with Conte. Then shaking hands with Son who was waiting there.....

I don't know why he goes on pre season tours
Yeah he did.
I'm not sure whether he was involved in the training session though?
Can't quite remember. Seems a long time ago now.

People want Levy to be as far away from the football operations yet want him at home to negotiate deals which involves himself working on the football side - literally the thing that they're opposing, the irony of that is pretty funny.

It's not even Monday lunch time and we've reached the point of hysterics already.
Nobody said that. What I said was that he can do the majority of business related from London, that he has no need to be on a training pitch.

I personally don't want him involved in anything football related but who else currently do we employ that handles this area of the club? We have no DOF do we?

Well no I already gave you my opinion of what football operations is and what people have widely complained about, that doesn't mean I'm being obtuse - it just means I don't agree with your hysterical and laughable viewpoint.

I want him home working on stadium naming rights etc

I guess they don't have phones or an internet connection in Australia, good to know 😆

How does one 'work' on naming rights btw?

Nobody can answer that question because nobody, including you or MVP MVP , has the facts.

Why don’t you email him and ask?
I did and got this reply

Hello Professor Furball esq

Mr Levy is not available at the moment as he’s stalking Harry Kane , he has an absolute right to do this as no injunction has as yet been made.

My viewpoint of a preseason football tour being part of footballing operations is hardly "hysterical and laughable"

Do you not see how dramatic and unreasonable that position is? It just comes across as you being petty, you seem to love arguing with people on here, this is why I left our discussion on Lloris and me not considering him a club legend because he decided to drink and drive.

If you can't have a discussion like a mature adult without resorting to hyperbolic reaction then I will simply stop engaging with you, I am not going to fall into this back and forth trap you seem to enjoy with other posters.

A few points here.

It takes two people to argue, not one.

Dramatic and unreasonable it maybe but we are both taking that very stance here.

If you think I'm being petty you're right but then you ought to look at your own argument as arguing the toss over a picture and twisting it to what you think it means is the very definition of petty.
