Looks like Transfer Tuesday is cancelled this week.
Out of absolutely nowhere, Spurs official Twitter post a video with a "Welcome to N17" caption. You click play on the video and through the dark shadows you can barely make out the number 77 on a Spurs home kit. Slowly turning to face the camera, Kvaratskhelia says "Come On You Spurs!"

No rumors. No leaks. No reporting. No "Here We Go". Just the official announcement and it's done.

Immediately, half this forum moans about the lack of CB's this window.

new cb's yet

I doubt we'll get any until the end of the tour. I'd love to be wrong though.

How exactly is this value measured?
Oh it's incredibly difficult to quantify off the pitch leadership and camaraderie. No one can put a £ figure to it I reckon. But it's been widely reported that Dier's presence is valued by other members of the squad. There's no similar reports for Sanchez. So when choosing between the 2 of them, it's pretty easy to choose.

The only thing on Sanchez's side is he's slightly younger, but as we shouldn't be interested in resigning either of them that's a non factor.

No but seriously we would still be fecked at the back though.

Serious 'win by 7-6 scoreline' vibes.

July 17th. We've appointed a HC none of us (be honest) had as their 1st or 2nd...or 5th choice. We've signed no CB, which has been a major priority for at least 4 seasons. We've made permanent two dudes for big, big money...knowing one of them lads was very good for 3-4 months but then rubbish for 12, and the other comes with substantial question marks. We've signed a guy who had a few good games for Fulham & Shakthar...ripping the latter off in the process (on the surface). We've only waived one piece of our massive stockpile of deadwood. But yeaaaaaaaah we've signed Vicario & Madders.

But still, one must be pleased and positive cause the opposite is poo poo...negative people are bad people, no room for them on TFC.
Negative people aren't bad people. They're just an absolute fucking ballache to be around and listen to all the time.

I'm pleased with our signings so far.

All last season everyone wanted more creativity - we've signed Maddison.

All last season everyone bemoaned or keeper situation - we've signed Vicario.

All last season, and before that, everyone hated the defensive football - we've hired a head coach synonymous with attacking football.

I think we'll see the dead wood leave slowly as Ange sees more and more of the players. Slowly but surely he'll give the chop to those he doesn't like.

We do need CBs though but they'll come.
