Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

For 80m sell him in a heartbeat. Dier was bad but Romero was also at the heart for a lot of our problems in defence. Absolutely shocking displays some times. A liability too. Dont think as an individual he has the temperament to be a top quality centre back and leader. It isnt “hardness” as much as being immature

Some see selling your “better” players as a weakness but its all context and timing. Man city let Gundogen go on a free after his best season for man city.

Inflate that price from world cup and being argentine CB and sell him for ridiculous money

I hate to break it to you but no-one's got £80m to spend on him.

🎙️| Cuti Romero on Postecoglou and the season ahead:

"I think he's exactly the manager that the club needed and we'll try to give the best of ourselves in order get Tottenham as high as possible, to give the fans the opportunity to feel that we're all in it together and that they can support us in the way that they always do and we'll try and do our best this coming season. The biggest changes, well I don't think they are significant changes, but it's a playing style that I think Tottenham always had. It's about taking more risks, taking control of the game, trying to control games.”

Tapsoba for me. But I'd worry about them in the air so Tosin cheap is mot a bad idea.

Not expert but read somewhere Tapsoba usually very good in the air. last season was the first and only time he wasn't needed for many aerial duels.

Tosin is a beast in the air though.

Sign them both and just make sure Tosin plays with Tapsoba or Romero against Brentford and Everton. Maybe Newcastle as well

I'm still somewhat troubled by the fact that our supposed first choice (well, assumed most expensive one) isn't actually a LCB by trade..... If that's not perceived to be a problem by those that know; fair enough, but that in turn leaves me wondering where VDV fits into our immediate equation.

All 3 would be fabby (especially if it resulted in one big clear out), but just wonder if Tapsoba & Tosin aren't of more immediate use to us.

The idea of Romero & VDV together - aerially - worries me.

What makes you think he's not a LCB by trade?

loads of right footers play on the left in a back 4.
