BUT fair and reasonable isn't what gets discouraged.

The claim that I just seek to shut down anything vaguely negative is frankly bollocks. I simply have an aversion to the kind of BS (and often blatant lies) that get spewed which serves to crank up the stress, bad feeling and toxicity around the club and often makes it difficult to enjoy the up-sides of supporting the club....

...The predictable-as-hell reaction to the Blackburn post a page or so ago is just a classic example of the kind of crap that I rally against and I sure as fuck won't cease nor apologise for that.

On the flipside; it's been pointed out & proven on many occasion how - even if you are somewhat disgruntled - unless you are angrily vocal enough about ENIC then you run the risk of being subjected to puerile insults and "Levy fallatio" cuntery.

It's pretty bad faith of you to claim neutrality and namecheck myself and a few others, whilst not counterbalancing with such direct criticism of the proponents of the trolling, conspiracy theory and relentless 1-dimensional drum-beaters that readily play the victim when called on their crap (or find themselves democratically binned).

I think Airfixx, the issue is you seek to correct a lot of posts on a factual basis. I don’t think it’s always necessary but alas, no issue with that if that’s what you feel you want to do.

However, you don’t tend to correct any post that appears to be largely in support of the club, even when factually incorrect or lacking balance / context.

You’re not the only one, I’m aware Joan and others do it on the other side and there have been some bare-faced lies told from anti-Enic over the last few months of reading. I guess I just find your brand of posting more unnecessarily condescending than theirs bearing in mind the situation the club finds itself in right now. 5 years ago I would have been arguing with you, not against!

Regardless, it wasn’t meant as an overt personal dig, I appreciate the need for positivity I just think there are some fundamental issues with the club that need large-scale discussion right now (albeit I do appreciate this is the transfer thread).

Re your point about “good faith”. I don’t think I’ve ever claimed neutrality so not sure why you’ve said that. I only ever want what’s best for the club in the long and short term and my opinions will be fluid based on what I see over an extended period of time.

Right now I’m very comfortable with our spend, I’m entirely uncomfortable with the strategic decision-making of our leadership as it pertains to on field activities. 👍

Squads in a terrible place. Levy has done it again thrown another coach under the bus. With less than a month till we start the campaign: failed to bed in two quality centerbacks to steady a defence that was on relegation mode last 20 odd games. We won't have Kane to guarantee nearly a goal a game meaning the oponents had to score two to beat us and we still finished 8th. Defensive solidity takes training ground work and right now we all know Tosin is the incremental Eric Dier upgrade we are getting. I look at that potential back four and I'm telling you we better pray Emerson fucking Royal stays fit as he's going to be vital to us seeing out games. That we are looking at throwing 80million on Kulu muani tells me we are in panic settings and did not think Kane would go abroad. On top of which no dedicated D.O.F. So fully expecting the late arrival of the Torrino centerback or Millenkovic from Fiorentina Or Gleson Bremmer. As Paratici cooks from his fucking RV in the dessert. You heard it here first. This cluster fuck is brought to you care of the greedy bald cunt.

He's been oscillating between meh and fucking meh for years. He's game but is a meh/poor defender, often makes poor moves or defends badly and offers virtually fuck all anywhere else on the pitch.

He's a good egg but is indicative of what's turned us mediocre.
