If we keep Kane, we need a very pacy CB or need a deep lying holding midfielder with good pace to manage the counter attacks we will have to face regularly.

I really think we will be able to score a lot of goals. I am just worried that our defenders will get exposed.

I’m tired of this fanbase acting like we’re way above Tosin Adarabioyo.

-tall, 6’5”, 80th percentile aerial stats in the PL
-quick, thrives running back to goal
-grew up in City’s academy, is intricately familiar with the 2-3-5 buildup Ange uses
-HG, one year on his contract, cheap.

I know I sure as hell prefer Tosin over Dier in any system requiring a high line. And he wants to come.

You’re definitely on to something. I bet the same thing would happen to villa or other clubs of a similar size to us. The other top 5 teams are just part of the cartel. It’s why levy wanted us in the super league and also why I wasn’t that bothered about us being part of it.

He's fine as a squad addition to suit what we need but he was Fulham's 3rd choice CB last season.

VDV may have the higher ceiling, but in the here and now I'd be more comfortable with Tosin.

I've seen a Monaco fan on X saying they're still looking to buy Tosin cause they need 3 defenders, we probably shouldn't assume it's a done deal yet.

All of us would love that we sign Tapsoba and Lukeba and spunk £100m on top quality defenders to revamp the entire operation. And maybe show some ambition and really give Kane something to think about.

But it’s clear Levy won’t do that.

He’s going to dumpster dive and hold out and delay delay delay as usual. And while we’re at the dumpster we may as well leave with something … Tosin is a useful player, English, and at a very affordable fee.
