This is the time when I start to get very frustrated at Levy. The season is nearly upon us and we haven’t signed much needed centre backs. I listened to Dire/Dier and unfortunately he doesn’t want to go anywhere.
It’s times like this when I wish we had new owners, just look at the Dark Side they have been buying all around them and it’s hard to stomach. So Levy get the finger out!
 
At this stage I’m Ok if we don’t make another signing if we really clear the decks of the wastrels ahead of a Jan transfer window attack.

Move on Lloris, Sanchez, Rodon, Tangana, Spence, Sess, Reg, Persic, PEH, Ndom, Kane, Gill

Could raise 150M and take 15% off bottom line in wages

Take out time, build football infrastructure and allow Ange 20 games to assess. I would honestly say that squad is far better than last seasons with shit players gone from the 11 (Lloris, PEH, Sanchez, Perisic etc) replaced by Vic, Biss, Maddison, Udog, Devine etc

There’s zero reason to include “cheap” next to each incoming player on your list. I couldn‘t possibly care if we got everyone on a free if they all significantly added to the team. If they aren’t good it doesn’t really matter if they’re cheap or not, right?

If we actually do sign two first team quality CBs, a legitimate attacking threat to replace Kane, and either a midfielder or utility outside back, I will have to concede that it was a good window.

Even with the delay.

But the thing is, to pull 4 deals of that complexity off, requires expert planning, precise negotiation, and basically no wrong moves. They’ve got to thread the needle very delicately here.

Does anyone believe they’ll pull it off, deep down? We don’t even have a sporting director or head of recruitment at the moment.

Has Levy done anything to inspire confidence that this window won’t be a complete shitshow?

Which is hilarious because those exact actions (sacking Mourinho the day before a cup final, the Nuno/Gattuso disaster, failing to buy anything good in summer 21 or 22, hiring a known fraudster in Paratici, etc) have directly led to Kane anting to leave.

To be fair to Levy can’t directly blame him for Conte being a fucking wanker and an awful dinosaur of a manager. But everything else was really bad and is on him.
 
Why has anyone thought that Levy would change.HE HIRED Poste because he knows how much he wants to manage in premiership and won’t rock the boat.All that is going to happen is we will lose as much but will look prettier doing it unless we get 2 class defenders and replace Kane

Well, if ..ahem.. "you lot" keep plumping up the turkey you can't blame "the apologists" for breaking it's neck, ripping off it's feathers, sticking sausage meat up it's arse, setting fire to it and then devouring it's flesh and throwing "you lot" it's carcass.

Basically has to admit that he failed on pretty much everything if Kane goes.

All the way down to the statements about the stadium being a game-changer.

Not much of a game-changer if you can't keep your best player.

Problem is, that ship has sailed. He didn't build a team around him that could persuade him to sign a new contract and he's gone. Now or next summer.
