Richarlison has played in the league for years, we know more or less what to expect, average finishing, good movement, and great workrate. Last season was an anomaly, in that he played mostly out of position.

Average finishing is exactly what we don't need. Ange will need a striker to be clinical and score heavily, like Kyogo did at Celtic. Richarlison is ok as a back up striker, give him one more year to see if he improves.

Plus the club knows that fans will expect a good striker to come in when Kane goes. Of course not his level but someone with a reputation. Vlahovic is one, outside bets on David at Lille and Gimenez at Feyenoord

Signing an Argentina kid, a Championship prospect and to date, a one season wonder in Van de Ven isn’t going to fix the issues we have in our squad, especially defence. They’re all talents but they’re also all incredibly raw. We need players ready to step up/in now - Tapsoba, Laporte etc

Obviously everyone would like a great finisher, but if we feed him enough chances average finishing is ok.

Our system is totally changing. Think it’s more likely Richarlison and Son compete for the striker role and with Son less on the left we get a wide forward/multi role attacker like Muani or someone of that nature to come in with Solomon as back up.

Nottingham Forest have now made an offer to sign Rosario Central striker Alejo Veliz but now he looks set to head to Tottenham instead. The Reds made the first move to land the young Argentine but once again they look to have missed out on a player.

According to Gustavo Yarroch, Tottenham have activated the player’s release clause. He now looks set to head to Spurs, with Ange Postecoglou busy reshaping his squad ahead of the new season.

We're activating release clauses now? Yeah this is definitely the Kane money.

Must be similar to Sessegnon, Postiga, Bostock and look what happened there lol

I’m not knocking this signing or the others, just saying they don’t fix any of our current issues. They’re all one for the future, we need first team players/squad additions now.

There are very few really clinical strikers around, hence why Bayern are prepared to go all in with Kane in the last year of his deal. Richy is streaky which is what most finishers are like at the top level. We just have to hope that we'll be consistently creating shed loads of chances.

Man hasn't even stepped foot in the league and he's already getting ripped to shreds. I hope for his sake that he breaks Lewandowski's goalscoring record or their shit media will be hounding him.

Lewandowski has over 300 Bundesliga goals.
I think it’s safe to say Harry’s breaking no records out there

If he does go :sonpoint:

What could possibly go wrong?

:levywhoa:

"Daniel, we really don't have time to keep going back and forth on this. We're busy people with other pressing commitments. Make your final offer and we'll decide here and now if this deal is going to happen."

*Daniel slides an envelope across the table*

I know absolutely nothing about him but I fully expect him to smash Haaland’s record next season and surpass Shearers record by 2024-25

VDV is 22-year-old and a starter for a Bundesliga team, he'd also be our second best CB, he's definitely coming for the first team if we don't sign Tapsoba.
