He should have bought the good player and not the bad one, yes.

You see anything in the Suarez comp that Messi offered?Just watched Rosario vs Boca from earlier this year. Only one game, but looks like a player we should be happy to sign. Playet comp would be a pre-injury Raul Jiminez... surprised how good his feet and passing are given what I read about him when the news broke last night.
Now we have Messi's favourite defender in Romero, his favourite CM in Lo Celso and his favourite youngster that he compares to Suarez...
Is Messi on the recruitment team?
I have time for all those 3. Even if I know fuck all about Veliz
We will have to subsidise no matter what
No but to say you think a player is good because some people have told you so is ridiculous. It’s more ridiculous that wanting a player just because he looks good on YouTube.
He scored against Wigan and Villa in finals, nothing against "bigger" clubs that he would be expected if at Spurs.Rooney was inferior for England to Kane.
Rooney may have helped Man United over the line far more often than Kane helped Spurs over the line.....but....
Rooney was in a dominant, Ferguson managed United, surrounded by world class players who were all used to winning.
Kane may not have helped us over the line, but in many cases, we were only at the line because of Kane. People miss that.
England have got to a final, a semi final and a quarter final with Kane.
Previously to this they hadn’t been further than a semi final since 1966 and hadn’t got to a semi since 1996.
They had teams including Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Owen, Scholes etc in this time.
Kane has done better with England than any of them. And if he’d played for a United or a Chelsea like they did, he’d have stacked trophies.
This bitter nonsense needs to stop. It is pathetic.
Phillips had to compete with City midfield where they had depth. RW at City is a position without much depth at the moment, due to Mahrez sale and Sterling leaving last season.
can you really say 'spot-on' until those players have had a successful spell at their new club? Seems a bit 'top trump esc.' to call it based on stats?
Seems a bit like our dear bald leader wants it known that his hands have been on our biggest or best deals
Daniel must be a member of this forum then.Today is the day! Daniel has seen the contribution we have all made on here to make it past 1500 pages and as a reward to all our hard work he is finally going to open up that war chest! Let the Spending commence!!!!![]()
Maybe attitude, he seems relentless and competetive. Stylistically not really, Suarez was an outrageous footballer with his choppy dribbling, burst of acceleration and variety of shooting techniques. This lad seems a more conventional centre forward, I quite like the Jiminez comp, he does the physicality, heading, running, target-man role with a bit of drip/flair. Will skim through a few more games later. You see anything in the Suarez comp that Messi offered?
Looks a busy type of bully striker in clips
The "bulk up" thing was a joke, It's a cliché that bugs me.I don't hold with this 'give a player a few more years to develop' stuff. How often do they push on through?
At 19 we should really know enough about this kid, i'm not saying his game wont change throughout his career but I think it's rare that a 19 year old suddenly kicks on, sure it happens but reckon it's more common for them to remain at that level.
Kane was a baller and had the mental strength at 18/19 but he was lacking game time and the opportunities as he crossed-over, Defore, Pav, Crouch and Bale to name a few. That's part of the reason for his loan. To Prove the theory...
This kid is either the real deal or he's not. Look at Sess 'he needs to bulk up a bit', Same with Gil... Oliver Skipp was smashing into players at 18/19... I think it's either in you or it's not.
and it was Daniel who has cocked up so many deals in the pastAnd it was DL who salvaged the Porro deal when it was faltering![]()
It doesn’t seem that long ago that he was having his ‘renaissance’
