So Levys not pulling the trigger earlier has cost us £15 - £20 million, that could have gone to improvements Elsewhere.

This is why Levy is not the great business man, his supporters claim him to be and further proof his ego is costing us more than it saves.

Shocking really.

If it's not obvious yet, we had no money for this before, we're making those buys with the Kane money.

This isn't true. There are a few accounts out there that all said Wolfsburg moved the goalpost when the deal was close.

You think that Wolfsburg jacked the price up by 10 million because Levy delayed the negotiation?
And based on a single tweet from a Mirror reporter with no inside knowledge of Spurs??
What utter cock!

No, just showing that what the other poster was saying wasn't wrong and that rumours at the time did put the cost at that price.

And yes we should have pulled the trigger as it would have been good to bed player in a bit during the overseas tour, like Ange wanted... To have at least one CB in before the tour.

And because we didn't, for whatever reason, the price has gone up an extra £15-£20 million.

And thanks for the insult child

Apparently Rosario wanted to include a sell on clause in the deal but Levy usually refuses because he is not a fan of them. Will be interesting to see who got their way

Or the reason it's taking so long is because they were asking a crazy price all along.

Or just perhaps (as suggested by some reports a day or two ago) Wberg tried to 'Levy' Levy and hike the price...... Which is why nothing happened until Levy & Co. got back from the tour?

I'm happy to concede to not knowing the genuine facts of the matter if you are though....?
