We conceded an average of 1.65 goals per game last season over 38 games.
We kept 10 cleansheets. So in the 28 games we didn't, the average goes up to 2.25 goals per game.

This was with 3 CB's and wing backs making a back 5. The team regularly dropped deep to try to stem the tide and failed.

We'll play less bodies in defence with more emphasis on attack this season. We'll be wide open.
With the same drips who conceded 63 goals last season.
But we are not going to have the same drips from last season though are we?

Udogie for a start. We are getting Philips and VdV looks to almost be other the line.

Your panicking for no reason.

Tosin still seems alive if you go by O Keefe. Really no reason for him not to go to Monaco if that's really what he's set on, now that Disasi left, which makes me think he hasn't chosen them after all.

When you compare them head to head; there's little reason to choose Monaco ahead of Spurs....

Spurs - EPL 8th
More money
Bigger club
Better quality team-mates
Bigger/Better league.
No Europe (But can be assumed to be there again next season)

Monaco - LgUn 6th
Europa League

........If he thinks there's genuine interest; it's logical that he'd wait.

He'd start there, here he'd sit on the bench.

Of course he does. Spurs the only place that will tolerate such poor performance

Man U enter the debate with the likes of Maguire, Jones & Smalling.... The truth is most clubs have players that don't make the grade yet linger beyond their shelf-life.

Chavs: Bakayoko, Barklay, Drinkwater........

Arse: Holding, Chambers etc.

Honestly think Ornstein is click hunting with a guess at the fee.

He said "approaching 50m Euros with addons"

So, he doesn't know the fee and you'd have to guess at least 5m of those are addons.

approaching could be anywhere from 45m up....

Bet it's later reported as 42-43m Euros plus addons, so £36m plus addons.

Pretty reasonable.

Also, sidebar but he mentioned RB in the article after Gvardiol deal finally happened. Don't think it's a coincidence that we sped things up when that deal got done and RB were yet to finalize Lukeba as his replacement.
Hmm, the increased Kane offer of a few days ago will more of a push than Gvardiol imo. I could imagine the club are inclined to agree to a Kane sale and are pushing through other deals in advance of that.

To be honest, I am not sure we do need Perisic. Would rather move him on for £££ for the sale and £££ saved in wages.

He would be competing with Son, Gil out on the left wing. And to be honest, I would rather have a young understudy for the future than have a 34 year old as back up to Son.
Perisic will not be competing with Son. He'll be competing with Gil, who is out for a while. Could see us keeping him until January.

Bayern continue to act small time.

Kane - "Figure it out before Brentford"

Bayern - "How about you figure it out in 24 hours"

Real tough club
At some point everyone has to show their cards. Bayern setting a deadline makes sense. If they have the sense that Spurs actually want Kane to move on (which I think is true) they ought to draw a line and bring this to a conclusion. Bayern will be successful with or without Kane so there's not much for them to lose. For them Kane is a "it would be nice to have" player, not a "must have" player.
