Well we have just signed a young kid in Veliz who isn't ready now to be a first teamer, so why not being in someone in their prime to do a job for a couple of years until Veliz is ready

It would be the same as keeping Kane and having Veliz as heir apparent

Who knows. Most likely a smokescreen but it could make sense if people are open minded about it and look at the bigger picture.

Totally agree. His not shown enough since his been here. I have no confidence in him if his out through by Maddison or gio in a one on one with goalie to finish. He’d finish on the floor looking for a foul. Hope I’m wrong but he really has not shown enough quality you need as a man CF.
