Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. What we're asking for him isn't insane, considering the way the market is now. Where are they going to get the same quality for a lesser price elsewhere? Kane guarantees goals. There are few players in the World that you can say that about, and none of the rest are available.

Bayern know that if they don't get him now, they're never getting him. That's the strength of the hand.

Whether Kane needs to force his way out or not is irrelevant, where Bayern are concerned. They have this one window of opportunity to get him.

All in my opinion of course. There's merit in both arguments, so we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Great post. I never thought of it like that.

Fuck this cunt but seems pretty clear RKM is off the cards, even if we wanted him on.

Taremi link is designed to get Gent to lower their price for Orban.

Looks for sure like Levy wants to drag the Kane decision past the Shakhtar game and then he accepts. Or he's already accepted but wants to delay the news.

Dream land would be Orban and Olise coming in to the attack.

Phillips seems to be similar to MvdV. I’d expect that other cb signing, if there is one, to be more like Romero… a more aggressive assertive CB.

I also see a way to attack our défense. We have one cat and one dog. Attack the side with the cat in the half space. For our starting 11 that is the side with MvdV. Encourage MvdV to come out to win that ball and then play the ball in the space in behind. Even more effective if Porro is playing.

I've been saying it for months.
This is their only chance and they know it. They wouldn't be bidding of United, City, Madrid were at the table too and they know as a free agent he isn't going to live in Munich and play in that league.

Philips is a brilliant signing for the price. Literally no risk. Reminds me of the signings of the 2000s and early 2010. British young players. Love it

Do you remember John Bostock?

Nah I like to see it as well but this summer we're buying too many players that I haven't heard of let alone seen play, Maddison apart.

The players are gamble, the manager is a gamble, seems like if this 'project' fails than maybe the majority will finally wake up and realise our owners haven't got a fucking clue on how to run our club. We're the ninth richest club in the world, not Crystal bloody Palace.

Don't see the point of dragging the Kane decision to the Shakhtar match cause under the circumstances I can't see him playing either way.

Yep.

Used to love getting excited over the likes of Lennon, THudd, Walker, Rose etc and even Dele.

They all have more experience than him but it's where we always done better than most other clubs. Signing potentially great young English (or HG) talent.

We've lost our way a bit over the last few years, missing out on the likes Maddison first time round, Olise, Eze and now seemingly Scott.

No clue how they allow that stuff over there.

Meanwhile they chuck bans left and right for people posting unofficial links or anything negative, despite empowering and building their transfer forum around three pure bullshit artists.

Bleak.

Yeah it’s why this forum is 100 times better. It’s hilarious how they have so many ITK but none of them have a clue on Harry. If anyone was truly ITK they would have actual updates to share.

But then would anyone at the top levels of the club with real ITK actually spend their days reporting back to a load of randoms on a forum?

What a good reason to risk your job. To get ‘ratings’ on a forum. Haha. Bonkers.

What are your thoughts on the window so far?
Selling Kane or keeping him will be a watershed moment. We’re either willing to lose 20+ goals now or 100m now.

All will be for nothing if another centrehalf doesn’t come in. Sanchez/Dier as 3rd centreback is just grim.

Don’t mind taking punts on young players like Phillips and Veliz. From time to time young players prove to be wise investments.

I yearn for a manager that will blood academy players. Hopefully Ange is willing to trust them.
