Son was never a smooth player in tight spaces, has always had that heavy touch in him.

Kulu and Madders seemed to link well in congested areas.

I'd say that everyone played pretty well against a Europa League team who are three games or so ahead of us and top of their league (with all the hell that's going on in their country of course).

The players that really impressed me - Maddison, Sarr, Udogie, Romero.

Son and Kulusevski looked like they were getting back to their best.

Emerson and Davies were decent in defence, especially the former. PEH had a fine if not spectacular game in central midfield. Vicario made a couple of good saves.

As subs, Solomon and Gio did well.

No one played badly.
