Forget about "you never know" ..... If he goes into next season without signing a new contract is not worth the risk. The types of clubs and offers he will receive from teams knowing he will be a free transfer will absolutely blow away whatever Spurs can offer. Don't be a twit Levy

I get your point but what makes you so sure that ENIC would plough that money back into the team? Don't think there is any guarantees that they would.

Hmmm. I remain sceptical but fair enough.

What I would say is that we're a wealthy enough club to be able spend that kind of money without selling Kane.

It's just that we don't.

We've certainly been in contact with Genk & Orban. How advanced we are and if it depends on Kane leaving I really don't know. But I struggle to see us bringing him in without Harry leaving. I imagine as others have stated, we are trying to line up a few deals and if we are successful, we then may accept the bid.
