Because maybe Kane says it's the only way he'd accept to extend his contract, otherwise he's out on a free. What would Levy do in this case? Prefer to lose him on a free in summer 2024 instead of for 50-60m in January 2025 / summer 2025?

I agree ultimately it's the correct decision but the way Levy has gone about it as usual has been nothing short of pathetic.

I agree. Bayern want him in time to play in the DFL-Supercup against RB Leipzig on Saturday. Even though it would be tight for him in any case, he might at least make the matchday squad if a deal is agreed by tomorrow morning at the very latest. Makes no sense from Bayern's end to keep delaying this bid; either they're going to bid today or they're going to go after other targets. There's no benefit to Bayern to delay further, except to save up on one day of salary.

I bet there's lots of others players for us and for other teams who have scored wonderful hat tricks. But that was just a blip on an otherwise mediocore career.

What we will never know for sure is, just  how fit was Kane and who was in control of that.

Sadly it barely mattered if we had Kane, Moura, or Messi up front. Liverpool got the luckiest start a team could dream of, and decided to dig in and see it out. It was an awful match and the only time I recall them ever playing like WBA
