Well Mbappe is a Parisian for a start. Messi literally couldn't stay at Barcelona and take a pay cut so was made to leave by FFP. Only PSG could come close to matching his salary.
Neymar is a mercinary knob. He also went to PSG because he didn't want to live in Messi's shadow.
It didn't work.

So really none of those examples are comparable

The previous framing was that Kane had already agreed terms and it was on Levy. So...

It's all bullshit, Kane is staying.
 
If it's not this window, it would have been in january or next summer.. Best to cut ties now and start a fresh..

He will be sorely missed and I whole heartedly thank him for every minute he has worn the Spurs shirt..

Alright, let's get the negative shite out the way... to let him go 2/3 days before our first prem game is absolutely ridiculous. Levy's aim has always been to get that champions league spot both for the money and to keep the fans off his back. Selling Kane now without an able back up is on Levy and he should be called out for it.

Am I completely fucked off with the situation with Harry going? no, cause I believe the way Ange wants us to set up, there will be many other players chipping in with goals assists. If we were playing Mourinho or conte ball, I would have been more concerned as all of our play was mainly "lets sit back and on the counter attack, just get the ball up to harry". We're going to see a completely different style this season and its going to be exciting with or without the main man.

Is anyone else terrified that Son has lost his pace, so we've essentially lost two world class players at the same time? Anyway, onwards and upwards. I just hope Richarlison can shine in Ange's system.
 
As a Bayern fan, I'm in a state where I'm not sure if I should celebrate or feel sad about this. I'm sure that if Kane comes he's going to be massive, but that's a LOT of money for a 30yo with 11 months left on his contract. Purely from a financial point of view it does not feel right.
 
To accept a bid NOW, two days before the start of the season, just as the positivity and optimism is building under Ange, in order to earn another £10m or so... absolutely unforgivable from Levy. Enough is enough.
