If selling an incredibly valuable player who's not planning to renew and on his last year of contract is stupid then every club in the world is sutpid.

He cost us fuck all.

You and I aren't the Spurs accountants. We're football fans who are fans of this football club. Kane is our greatest ever striker with claim to being our best ever player.

Why would anyone not want to keep him here?

one thing Ange isn't is naive. Levy would have said he'll try to hold onto him, but he only has one year left and if a big offer comes in, and he wont sign a new contract then he'll be sold.

As to Kane, I'm glad I got to watch him, for me the City debacle is a staine on his time here. Could have been a legend, could have been the prems top scorer.

Life goes on...

Because he wants to leave, he can either leave on a free, or leave on a big transfer fee, allowing us to bring more quality in.

Depends what reports you believe.

He's open to leaving but he's also not pushing to leave. If he wanted to stay an extra year. What would be the issue, from a Spurs fans perspective?

You rate him right?

The timing of this is so shit. We should have told bayern a moth ago. If they haven't met the asking price by 31st July no deal.
we NEVER had the power in any of this.

no team in world football would allow their star player to let their contract run down in the final year and obtain no fee when there was a chance of obtaining 100m (or any substantial figure).

It's all well and good levy missing deadlines blah blah blah but as soon as Kane showed willingness to join them it was game over.

Make no mistake about it, had they not have come in and another English club actually offered that money...he would have eventually been sold after Levys pathetic attempts of jedi mind tricking the media into believing we held the power.

right decision to sell imo but of course Levy has to make it a theatre and mess up Anges plans in the process.
