Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I wonder if Kanes plan was to reject Bayern all along, hear me out first!!!

What if he has a deal with say United as well, he knows that by committing publicly to Bayern Levy would splash the cash before he signs the deal for Kane, then suddenly Kane decides he doesn't fancy a bratwurst for dinner and along come united with a slightly improved offer, what does Levy do then? :troll:

I'm sure Bayern will "insist" Kane keeps his "gentleman's verbal agreement" over his "promise" to join them.

Turns out Levy taught him everything he knows.

Expect a new contact within the next 3 months to include a block of apartments and a shopping complex. 'Harry's Haberdashery'

There are way too many unknowns to know whether this is good or bad for the club. None of us know what is causing Kane's hesitation. However, the one thing I know is that Bayern had their pants pulled down and we're all pointing and laughing at their micropenis.

Worse: imagine if it flushed out United to offer him a mega deal + signing on fee for this time next year.

:levywtf:

Very... peculiar to not just sign with Bayern if he and his entourage have been responsive to their advances (which one imagines they have for it to get to this stage). Could it really be influenced that heavily by timing or has something changed?

This is from Prof on COYS regarding the two contracts that were offered to him. I don’t think this is new info so it’s just adding to the current picture really:

I’ve shared what I’m allowed to share. He rejected the two different types of offer we put in front of him. The details are in a post I made earlier this week. I don’t know specifically why he said no. That would be interesting info. I’m hoping to be able to say more later, but that’s not my decision to make. We’ll see.

he isnt signing its obvious

Some people will turn on Kane if he stays and decides to leave on a free and that's exactly what Levy would want because on the surface it looks like Levy is looking out for the clubs best interest and Kane is looking out for himself trying to leave on a free.

The way I see it though is that Kane doesn't want to go to Bayern and he wants to stay at Spurs but he recognises that Levy and the owners will never do what it takes to reach the level he wants but isn't going to be bullied into leaving to a club in another country just so Levy can save face.

At the end of the day, it should have never been allowed to get to this point and any competent owners would have seen this situation coming and dealt with it long before now.

Levy has to make him sign and extension somehow now imo, I honestly can't blame Kane, I would likely do the exact same thing he is doing given the circumstances.
Yeah I agree with this.

It's a weird and annoying situation so I'm not taking sides but I think the issue Kane has is that there has been 'noises' about this move. How true the rumours were I don't know, I hate the media so it could be all bullshit. But Kane has apparently been open to the move and Levy by the looks of things has called his bluff.

It's fucked up!

Agreed, also Levy using the media to try and put the blame on Kane to cover his own arse, the guy is an Uber snake in the grass, slimy customer.
I honestly don't know how people are so blind to the way he operates.

I don't even hate him for it, that's how he does his business, completely unattached from the romance of the club.

But I dislike the way he runs OUR football club because football as a supporter IS about the romance of it all.

It's the same reason I can't fucking stand politicians who lack empathy but do everything in the name of business.

Over the long term I feel when the only focus is business and you forget that human emotion is involved, that's often when things fall apart, it's the reason most businesses go under, they forget about caring for their customers.

I mean who cares if he stays or go if he leaves on the free or not, I believe he has payed his dues and deserves to do what he wants, this club has made so much money off Kane so far. It really doesn’t matter to me what he does. For those who care about the money, it’s levy we dealing with there is no guarantee he is gonna invest back in the club they have money in any case that’s how I feel about the situation.
Holy shit! Man, I knew that if you kept banging on that soon enough you'd have your Mozart moment. Well done!

Deep down he doesn't want to go to Germany. Fuck it off let's show some ambition and let's see what we're looking like come January. If he goes for free he's more than done enough to warrant that. How much has he earned the club over the years. Don't let levy twist this on to kane. Focus should be on this season and it'll be a better one with kane in the side I'm sure. If he goes we've got a whole season to scout a replacement.

Wonder if Bayern may even pull out, citing not wanting to spend near £100m on a player who isn’t committed.
