He banged a load of goals last year and we finished 8th.

We can build without him and we have to. If he doesn’t want to sign an extension and be part of the Ange revolution, he can sit on the bench in Euros year.

Anything else is making Kane bigger than the club.

If Levy had rejected the bid it would be different but he didn’t.

I've got my eye on a cup more than CL this season tbh...... Consistency and a few bumps might not allow us top 4/5 form if all the big 6 perform this season, but if we're a team that can put most to the sword, without Europe, we could go a long way in the domestics.

It’s even more moronic, because the main disadvantage to us of him leaving on a free is the lost £90m.

But we can make around half of that if he stays and gets us Top 5!

This is such a braindead debate.

See above, but to elaborate, I like him, he could definitely do a job (better than Hojbjerg, most weeks a pretty good one, but I would like a right busy cunt 6 too. More tenacious than Bissouma, more athletic/imposing than Skipp.

Likewise, it’s f Ndombele is off, I’d love to add another specialist 8 like K Thuram.

Midfield is going to be vital in the new system. A really good, specialist 6 can be crucial in a cm3, allowing g you to have two good 8’s.
