So, the Kane camp leak for Kane's 'staying' reason is that he doesn't want to leave Ange in the lurch so close to season k/off............. A completely selfless decision.........

..........My BS radar just went mental!!!

Yeah similar 4/10 window so far and drops dramatically if Kane is sold. Zero faith in Richy staying fit all yr and getting the amount of goals needed.
We are one day away from season starting, so another point off for this mess at this time.

If Kane goes, I think we will bring in another senior striker. Exactly how senior is a question mark?

The good news around having a bloated squad is that we’re not going to bring in 7 replacements. The money will be concentrated on fewer. I’d take the entire spend on a CB and another forward.

Unconvinced by the goalkeeper tbh, shades of Heurelho, like Madders (type of player we've needed since Eriksen left), Solomon is a player we should be aiming higher than IMO, Phillips is a punt on a talented youngster, haven't seen enough of VDV to say and Veliz is a player I can see the potential in massively, but is a big risk...really hope he settles well because I think he's a potential superstar.

They all seem a bit finance first as per usual, especially when you look at other business going on around us...it's a 5 out of 10 at best.

Maddison and Veliz the two I'm happiest about, but if we lose Harry it's all fucked anyway for me.

Does it make it easier for us to get top 4 and then past the last 16?

I'm all ears.
I thought you were weighing up the benefit of him staying and us qualifying for the CL to offset the transfer fee? I was saying we will clear over 50M in the CL regardless. We will play four home matches, that should generate 10M in net profit alone, plus UEFA money and TV

From 2024-25, all teams will now play eight matches (instead of six) against eight different opponents, with four home ties and four away. All 36 sides will be ranked in one single league table - three points for a win, one for a draw and none for a defeat

Trust the process No. 10. Trust the process.

I only point out the very large assumption that we make the CL next year. Even with Kane.

Thereafter our progression is entirely theoretical given that we don't know the draw or even what our team looks like.

Assumption upon assumption upon assumption to mitigate the 100m loss that we will make. Happy to be wrong and if I am, the beers are definitely on me.
