Yeah definitely a gamble but it’s top 5 remember. To dare is to do, we won’t go bankrupt without the 100M and I doubt we will spend the 100M on anyone near Kane either

Absolutely perfect, team transforming signings which catapult us to a whole new level as a team (i.e title challenge).

I mean 10 is literally a perfect score, right? It's not just good, it's everything has been nailed. So every signing would pretty much have to be excellent and push us on significantly. I can't even think of the last time a team had a 10/10 window.

If the players we signed contributed well and we got top 4, that sounds like an 8/10 to me. Exceeds expectations. 7/10 would probably be more successes than failures & pushed on to a top 4 challenge .. but it's not exactly an exact science, we could finish mid-table but all the signings were great and the existing players were just awful.

Why would we not play him? He has contract which finishes next year. If everyone who has one year left was dropped bcos they won’t sign a new contract what is the point having a final year? If you see what mean. So a 5 yr contract to play a club is really a 4 yr contract?
He play no matter what of fit. His under contract and is still being paid afaik.
 
I was panicked with Berba, Modric, and Bale all left but we were okay and got better. Granted, Kane is superior to all of them both due to duration and total contribution to the club, but I think we'll be okay. Whether he stayed for a few more years or leaves for Munich we were going to have to find our way without him.
 
Someone spare a thought for the ITKs over on SC, they’ve had a rough old time of it today. Hercules started the day by proclaiming that

Which of course was proved to be absolute bollocks within hours.

Not content with being bodied on such a incomprehensible scale, he later claimed Richarlison may need an op, only for it to be refuted directly by Richy himself within hours 😭

Fair play to him though, he’s sticking to his guns on that one, directly refuting Richy’s claims about his own supposed injury

“He can deny it as much as he wants”

Perhaps he really is better informed than Richarlison himself? It’s the only logical conclusion.

We need to shift two more to accommodate 1 upgrade. There is no market for Dier and he seems set on staying. But we can flog Tanganga and Sanchez.

I think we are also banking on Phillips to step up as 4th choice

Romero ---- VDV
(Phillips) ----- (NEW CB)
(Dier)---- (Davies)

With this outcome, we only rely on Dier and Davies at CB in a real crisis.

The wildcard for me is what kind of role Phillips is ready to play.

Why can’t we put dier on the list regardless of what he wants? I’m sure jasphet would like to stay at spurs as well but we are dumping him. I’d say both him and Sanchez are better suited to anges system than both davies and dier. It think the.two are absolute garbage. No idea why a yo e thinks they are good enough?
