I watched loads of this kid in France and have a real soft spot for him. He’s not super busy, but very athletic, strong, puts a foot in, and can use both feet. Reasonably press resistant.

He always did have the odd careless moment in him, I’m not sure if that’s been coached out of him at PSV, I’ve not watched loads of him there. What I liked about him, was even if he made a mistake he never hid, kept wanting the ball.

To be honest he’s more similar to Bissouma in skill set than an archetypal “busy cunt”. But we could do worse.
Only in bus-conductor bus-conductor TFC is "busy cunt" an official midfield position & skillset.

Think we need 4 players

Another CB , one Romero suspension away from Eric dier .

A midfielder to replace hojbjerg

A goal scoring wide forward to compete with kulu or the opposite flank if need be,
and of course a CF .

think all 4 need to be of really high quality, that would probably be 200mil so not gonna happen

big difference coming here against prem defenders and he is 28 we need someone younger
You could say the same about Postecoglu. An older manager who hasn't managed in England/or another big league

Kyogo came through the Japanese university system like Mitoma. He's only been a professional for 5 years. I saw the same on here about 6 weeks ago about Postecoglu, who is he? He's not a big nane etc dont be snobby. Kyogo is a tremendous footballer who I would have no doubt would score goals in England. I just hope Postecoglu doesn't come calling

With Kane and hojbjerg money get

Orban
Olise
Schurrs
Scott

Added to the young core we already have, we would have the makings of a great team in a year or two.

A real sickner for you guys to see him go. Celtic went through it with the King, the real King and not Kenny Dalglish (Dalglish played for Celtic for 7 years before he went to Liverpool). Henrik Larsson. The so called King Kenny couldn't lace Larsson's boots.

It's hard but one man does define the club, you move on. As Postecoglu said, you were there long before Kane and will be there long after.

My worry now is that Ange targets Kyogo. He will be thinking about it, of that there is no doubt

Kyogo is a cracking little player but I think he’d be too lightweight for the premier league. He’d be pocketed by most decent centre halves

I'm not bigging up a Celtic player but if there's one archetypical Postecoglu player, it's Kyogo Furahashi

When Ange retires and he's asked who was the most important player he's ever signed, I have no doubt it would be Furahashi. I would truly say, if it wasn't for Kyogo, he wouldn't have even got the chance to manage Spurs as Kyogo changed everything. It's actually quite emotional just how important this wee guy is to us

Any time I’ve watched him he reminded me of sissoko. Well built not very mobile and bang average passing ability

Yeah, I think he's good, often impressed with him in European games. Would be a nice alternate for Bissouma as the six, and both also capable of playing as an 8, and both technical and physical enough to give you a good base in tougher games as a double pivot. Do think he's technically a good bit short of reaching the highest level though. Impressed with Mats Wieffer as well in Europe last season, similar player kinda. Both have size as well, which we need to add. Top teams now generally well stocked with players 6 foot and above.
