While social media is what it is, signs point to Sonny getting the players' support for the appointment, which is what matters most (not the PR crap). He did have a terrible year last year, but if this spurs him on further in the new season, surely it can only be a good thing.
In any case, I have a feeling Ange may not duck the hard decision if Sonny still falters this season.
