So I am asking, apart from the obvious, what is the difference because I genuinely can’t see what ‘BUT THIS IS TH PL’ actually means?
Ruthless punishment for errors or overcommitment, essentially.

Ange's defensive record at Celtic against teams of a caliber he's going to be facing 12 times a year minimum here was abominable.

He's got better players now, that will help. But does he have the nous to make the little adjustments that have brought Pep and Lego Man so much success with a similar philosophy of play at this level? Success wasn't instant for either of them, and they were much more experienced at the elite level of football.

This isn’t meant to insult anyone but someone please tell me why and how the PL is so special and different to all other leagues?

Apart from the money, better players, overall higher standard what makes it fundamentally different from any other league in the world?

I’m genuinely curious 👍
Its physically and mentally more demanding!

This is clearly true. The PL is a whole different ball game to Scottish and Japanese leagues. Or Australian ones.

On the other hand, he is facing these better coaches and staffs with better players than he has ever had before.

We have to wait to see how it pans out, but there are reasons to feel upbeat about his chances as well as reasons to doubt.
He will have better players and that's why I'm sorry Spurs let Kane go. It would have been interesting to see the new system with a player of Kane's ability in it. First game is too little to go on but it does look like he probably needs better wings more than he does a striker. Richarlison should do well in the system. In fact, there were two nice passes to him (one from Maddison and I think the other was by Skipp) that might have resulted in goals but there just wasn't enough space to thread the needle. Son was so far out on the wing he almost had to buy a ticket to the match. That's never going to work out. Either they'll have to adjust to get him inside more or just go ahead and move him on like they did Kane.

That’s doesn’t really make it different to any other league in the world all are physically and mentally demanding to some degree are they not?

I’m looking for a different reason that makes it stand head and shoulders above all other leagues 👍

Is the simple fact it is superior because it’s English?

More money

I feel like we have earned our hipster love in.

We took enough grief for having Jose and Conte that don't play hipster-friendly styles, may as well enjoy being trendy when you have a style that people like.

And how is the money distributed through the league?
"The domestic revenue generated is split into three sections, as per the league's website: 50 per cent is divided equally between the clubs, 25 per cent is awarded on a merit basis, determined by final league positions, and 25 per cent is distributed as a facilities fee for televised matches"

So the big boys get more money as they get their share plus merit/tv money and the smaller clubs are all on an equal share of half?

I don't know what argument you're after here or what you're expecting?

The Prem now has the best collection of players, coaches and teams in Europe, not from 1-4, from 1-20 collectively so that means the quality is far higher than any other league.

You even said yourself that money, players and a higher standard, that literally separates it from any other league in world football - even if you don't want to believe it use the eye test, most intense, most physical, most technical, that's what money does - it tends to attract the best.

This is not like the Premier League back in the early to late 2000s when it was hyped up to be the best relentlessly but it was lagging behind La Liga and Serie A.

What makes you think any different and what by your definition what is better?

Yeah mate, Klopp, Guardiola or Poch couldn’t instill their systems in less than one season, but mighty Ange did it in one match.
Did anyone say he did? The impression I’m getting from fans is that it’s early days but we can see signs of the system that he’s trying to implement. I can’t view the whole thread but I doubt this guy even said that.

Do you not have anything better to post other then complaining about any praise our manager gets?
