As far as options go; Son, Rich + Dane & Veliz isn't as bad as some are making out..........

Perisic, Solomon,Kulu, Porro is where the lack of goals lie IMO..... (Solomon judgement reserved)

That simply isn’t true.
We would have sold Dav to Russia BUT HE DIDN’T WANT TO GO.
We would have sold N’Dombele to Turkey BUT HE DIDN’T WANT TO GO.
We would have loaned Tanganga to Luton be he wants to wait on Inter.
This is no different from Barca not being able to sell Lenglet to Saudi because he’s waiting for what he sees as a preferable offer in us.
Players have agency. You can’t just make them go anywhere and getting 20p on the £1 on a loan isn’t really helpful when you’ll have the same problem next window.

Yep. I can’t see Son or Richie hitting double figures.

For what it’s worth, I fully expect us to bring in an established striker.

Absolutely need to sign somebody who can be our Saka, Salah, Martinelli, Rashford. Somebody who's a threat to score every game.. beats players, shoots at target and creates chances every time they take to the field.. somebody you'd spend 10m on to have in your FPL team. You won't get anywhere without those players, and Son is showing plenty of evdidence that he might not return to that level. None of our other forwards are that. If that means getting a 21yo who you project will get to that level in 18 months then so be it.
 
last season, his first with our club, richarlison completed 90 mins once in the league (2-1 home to fulham with him getting an assist)

if he starts on saturday, it will be his first back to back starts in the league since joining
