Stadium Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's no need for drums, trumpets, flags and tifos to generate and maintain a decent atmosphere, all we need is some exciting football to watch, it's as simple and as obvious as that.

Decided not to have any food or drink in the stadium yesterday.

Which sadly meant I ended up in the Coach after the game. They ran out of draught beers out the back, apart from Guinness.🤦🏻‍♂️

Best signing of the season!

Used to love the bagels at the old stadium

My dad always mentions this. The west upper apparently had the best bagels back in the day.

Yesterday. Southern Fried Chicken and (not) chips - £8.95

Kids Southern Fried chicken and (not) chips including a bottle of water £5.95

The difference ? One bit of chicken.

The calorie busting answer is to order two kids meals next time !

Moretti on tap yesterday too. Can’t recall that there before ?

The bottom pouring pint plastic things still drip 20% of your pint on the floor.

You're not turning into a grumpy old gal, are you?

I thought the tifos/trumpet were great - and to be honest I didn't hear the drummer from the north stand, but if he helped to get chants going, fair do's.

One big bonus of the bits of white card was how they were screwed up and used as missiles to chuck at any ManU player who might be in range! Such a laff! Just like the rubber bands in the NLD.

Not turning into one, always been grumpy ;)

I do like the tifos TBF, but my point was that the atmosphere is generated by the football we see. I think it was the AC Milan game that illustrates this the best. The supporters were really up for it and the atmosphere at the start was great, but we just didn't / couldn't keep it going, simply because the game was utter crap.

I just had the hot dog and a carton of water, over a tenner!!! I don't mind paying if it's good but the food is definitely not up to standard. Only Noodle King for me in future.

The Carribbean place next to the Community Centre does some cracking food!

Had curried goat yesterday... probably not the cheapest option on the High Road, but the quality and portions are great...

I guarantee that if they served the same thing INSIDE the ground, it would be at least double that!!

Saturday felt like the fans were being allowed to reclaim ownership of the stadium - and this has to be a good thing.

You're right, of course, and the atmosphere at the start of the second half on Saturday was very subdued. Our goal changed it completely. And then it continued to build, due to the beautiful skills we showed.

However - the tifos gave us a benchmark from which to build. And that benchmark was a high one.

Also, am I imagining things, or was the PA less intrusive before the game, allowing the fans their voice? If so, well done to the stadium management - you played your part very well.
